Lyrics aside, ‘Marry For Love’ sounds like something from Martin Guerre.

Did anyone just hear Far Too Late on EP0S? I wondered whether it was one of the alternative versions by other artists we’ve heard so much about? Turns out it was Carrie. It didn’t sound like her at all? What sorcery is this?

I am still going to the ball!!
I got an emaii confirmation, which also says my seat have been moved, albeit to the same seat number in the row behind.
I do have to be seated by 6.45, which seems a bit odd, given that it starts at 7.30.

I am also still going to the ball on my orginal show date/time (26th June matinee) although I'm no longer going to be "moved in more way than one" I'm now on row I which I think is the first non moving row so I'm hoping the moving seats will get moved out of my view!
I've also got a time to arrive.

I’ve been moved back from G to I, which I’m not too upset about, always nice to have the extra leg room. Didn’t expect to keep the date so I’m pretty happy overall.

It's just to stop massive queues with everyone arriving at the same time.

They were the same price when I looked a couple of weeks ago. Same colour on the seatplan but with notes to say they were special.

So was at Curve Theatre last night for The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber concert. They added in a playful poppy version of Bad Cinderella sung by the four excellent female singers. Maybe because it was towards the end of the concert and I’d listened to over two hours of ALW glorious music (and was reminded of how wonderful it is) but despite me being a fierce critic of the song (and the shonky lyrics) previously, I found myself really enjoying it. I’ve now processed 😂 I was wondering whether the released CHF version (singing in character?) comes across as too po-faced and serious and really all it needed was an injection of fun to elevate it? Anyone else there have any thoughts? I'd just come on here to say almost exactly the same thing! I was there last night and loved the arrangement of the song with the four female leads. It was really good. Quite clever putting it almost at the end too as I'm sure it will have stuck in people's minds.

Yes I thought Cinderella and School of Rock very definitely placed to remind us of the new production and the School of Rock tour. I’m wondering now whether Cinderella will be in British accents or American? The singers last night opted for poppy American. CHF sings it in a very clipped ‘posh’ accent which I thought from the first time I heard it is at complete odds with a ‘girl from the gutter’ and ‘unpleasant peasant’ Wonder whether she’ll have her usual accent in the show or a more ‘oi guv’nor’ cockney accent 🤔😂😉

Moved from Row M Stalls to Row C Dress Circle for Friday 25th. Given the overhang doesn’t start still Row P, we are not too happy and will be asking for a refund

Of course, because if there's one country that's synonymous with royal balls it's the United States. (OK, their last presidency was a royal balls up, but that's not quite the same thing.)

Well I guess if American actress /singer Brandy can play the title role on film in the R &H version and the fictional character of Cinderella lives in the fictional and French sounding Belleville all bets are off 😂 I’d just be happy to hear the ‘unpleasant peasant’ herself with a cock-er-ney Artful Dodger accent. I mean the Baker (of the much discussed buns) accent was definitely meandering into the region of Lionel Bart.

Haven’t received any emails so far so I fear I may not have been as lucky as others. Hopefully will get something through soon.

I’ve been moved from row k of the stalls at the side to row b of the circle at the other side. I definitely wouldn’t consider it an upgrade but as I still get to go I’m happy!

I think around the time IKIHAH was released Carrie said something about it being nice to sing in her normal accent.

I've been moved back a row and to the side. So a slight downgrade, but as I still get to go to the first preview (and expected to be bumped as a "single"), I'm quite happy!

Sorry she won’t have time I’ve cast her in Love Never Dies, A Woman in White, Aspects of Love and Martin Guerre (the original un messed with version)

Has anyone else not heard anything yet? It’s quite stressful knowing that many people have heard when train tickets and hotels have been booked.

Has anyone else not heard anything yet? It’s quite stressful knowing that many people have heard when train tickets and hotels have been booked. Exactly, and all because ALW didn’t get cracking on with rebooking it all when he first found out about 21st June and instead wasted weeks pontificating about how he was going to go ahead at full capacity and suing the government! People will have invested significantly in a trip to see this and they’re arseing about with it all at the last minute. Not acceptable! (and welcome to the forum steviepbadger 🙂)
