Looks like I've been rumbled TallPaul. You can never have too much dancing in my opinion. I told Andrew this last week. Hopefully he took my suggestions on board.

Carrie said on her stories that she leads choreo at one point and feels like she’s in a pop video... Sounds like a very modern take...yet the music is so very...well... Andrew Lloyd Webber? 🤔

Have we seen CHF dancing before? Can’t be easy in those clunky boots!

I’m more excited to see the revolving seats than the show haa I couldn't justify the high cost of the revolving seats but i did sit in one when I went to see Cats back in the day with the original cast but I bearly remember anything about the seats.

I’m very curious about how the revolving seats come into play, but at the same time I’m really not a fan of things being done in the round, they always seem to play more one way.

My prediction the revolving seats will be a clock which starts at midnight and rewinds to before the usual action. And if that isn’t part of the plot I want a fee as dramaturg

So another song is dropping today "Marry for Love" - I see that there's a youtube link but isn't available in the US yet. Anyone heard it yet?

I have, chernjam! It strongly reminded me of The Boys in the Photograph aka The Beautiful Game.

I’ve got a feeling the Prince might have a happy ending in this story too...he was forced to find a bride in the original ... now a Prince in this modern retelling?

oh right is it one of carrie’s songs? Marry for Love I mean. No, it's a choral song for men (on the album, at least). Probably hence the association.

Sounds like ALW is after a "You'll Never Walk Alone"/"Bui-Doi" moment.

Sounds like ALW is after a "You'll Never Walk Alone"/"Bui-Doi" moment. Although beautifully sung it doesn’t have the emotional punch of either of those sadly. If this is supposed to be a fresh modern take it’s giving me serious Rodgers and Hammerstein finale vibes.

It is very reminiscent of the song in Mulan where the men are dreaming of their perfect girl...
A Girl Worth Fighting For.
The drums are similar and there are some phrases that are familiar

It's a nice slow march, and I like the fanfares and flourishes and the church bells. I can understand why it didn't make the highlight album though.
I'll have to have a listen when I'm less tired, I was struggling to pick up some of the words, especially in the middle where the melody changed.

Inevitable with a large choir.

Even though it’s massively repetitive , I rather like that. Must have taken him at least 6 mins to write it.
