It'll be a bit of a mess. Have most performances sold well? Seen to have sold very well in fairness. Such a mess.

And this is the front cover of the arts and culture magazine in today's Daily Telegraph. He 's getting some right exposure! So kind of BurlyBeaR to allow his luxury loft apartment to used for the photo shoot. 🤣 Not sure about the shoes. Interesting that there's no ? after showman. He probably is, of his generation, but I can think of at least one producer who may disagree.

That other producer can just sit down. At least ALW has a shred of creativity left and isn’t only in it for the cash.

I mean ALW is the most famous and influential man in the west end. Someone else might be more powerful perhaps, and therein lies the difference - one continues to create because they want to prove themselves able, whilst the other just wants to maintain their position. Anyway, it looks like Boris is going to announce a four week delay so we’ll see what the Lord has to say on Monday! Andrew and Cameron are probably on par with each other in terms of shaping the UK theatre landscape but I would argue that Howard Panter and Rosemary Squire formerly of ATG and now of Trafalgar were influential as well and to an extent Sonia Friedman. I'm a bit cynical in thinking that ALW won't go ahead with either of his threats of risking arrest or selling his West End Theatres. I know he's selling The Other Palace but I can't see him relinquishing control of the crown jewels like The Palladium or Drury Lane.

As the town map describes "Belleville" as having been voted "The most attractive town in France 49 years in a row", maybe the plot centres around them trying to win their 50th year? Cue lots of soul searching about the meaning of being "attractive" yada yada yada keychange.

I wonder if the slippers that are being made by LaDuca are actually for Prince Sebastian then?

And I’m worried in case there are still escalators in the New Gillian London Lynn. I shall ensure I wear a sturdy shoe rather than my preferred flip flop.

I'm worried that they'll get Andrew trying to act again... I hope we get more of that. I love how unfunny he is, it’s weirdly endearing.

Well Boris’s announcement has buggered this show! I would argue that it was very foolish to schedule an opening so soon to the 21st June. I always assumed he was a good busines man ...

Well Boris’s announcement has buggered this show! Boris just said that EUROS will continue to be piloted as will ‘certain theatre shows’ Cinderella may well be granted a reprieve I didn’t hear the ‘certain theatre shows.’ I just don’t think that is fair - you can’t just do it for Cinderella and have preferential treatment. Is that because ALW is a Lord?!? ALW just kicks his toys out of the pram, he is unlikable and massively out of touch. No surprises, I can’t stand him. 😅

Yes, Boris said certain theatre shows. I suspect the government will extend an invite to offering venues the option to trial full capacity, and Cinderella is probably top of the list as ALW pushed forward with trialing shows last year when no one else was. The caveat probably being a show cannot force the audience to attend nor lose their money, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens. Presumably this and Joseph will be the trial shows given the Palladium has had a load of money spent on it and they will be the ones that cause the most uproar if they have to be rescheduled. As much as I want to see Linzi Hateley I am not sure I am comfortable sitting non-socially distanced when restrictions aren't lifted, so hopefully rebooking/a refund will be an option. I expect I won't be the only one.
