The folks over at balletco forum have spotted that the new season have gone online onto the ROH website a little early (due to be announced in a couple of hours I think). This includes the ballet (last year's Swan Lake is returning) as well as the opera (Netrebko and Kaufmann again).
I won't go through it all, but you can see the calendar going through to mid-2020 here

What a cock up?
Interesting to flick through the calander. Some of the dance bills look good and so does the two Britten's but nothing is really saying Wow when you consider the expensive and the trouble it takes to get tickets

Oooh, Tristan and Death in Venice! I quite liked Katie Mitchell's Lucia De Lammermoor as well.

Official announcement now up - www.roh.org.uk/news/royal-opera-house-2019-20-season-announcedMight be a cheap year for me ROH-wise Possibly just Death in Venice and Jenufa on the main stage. Seen those productions of Tristan and Isolde and Lucia di Lammermoor both of which I enjoyed but don't feel the need to revisit. Then maybe The Intelligence Park, Zauberland and Turn of the Screw at the Linbury if they don't sell out to members. At least they have put on longer runs of most of the Linbury productions this time. "The Intelligence Park" is a co-production with Music Theatre Wales and will be touring - only date I can find is 4th Nov at Birmingham Rep.

Can't they just put it in an easy-to-read list like they used to? Rude

Can't they just put it in an easy-to-read list like they used to? Rude Google press release and something half decent pops up. Still doesn't give the full schedule of performances though. Grrr. Im delighted to see they have used the extra time wisley.

It would be so much easier if they did an overview .pdf like they used to. That way you didn't have to look at each production individually to see the casting.
I'm interested in quite a few productions. Opera-wise: Werther, Traviata (the Aleksandra Kurzak cast, especially as one of my favourite mezzos, Helen Sherman, is making her ROH debut as Flora), Jenufa, Cav & Pag, & Don Carlos (not with Domingo, I don't want to see a Posa who's older than both King Philip & the Grand Inquisitor!). I'd like to see Agrippina again as a piece but I've sworn off Kosky after hating his production of The Nose.
Ballet-wise I'm interested in seeing pretty much all the "traditional" rep. Manon & Onegin will proably require repeat viewings, depending on the casting.

After trawling through the site like a slave, lots of things I'm happy about;
NETREBKO Tosca (vissi d'arte sung like a vampire, HELLO I am living)
LEONARD Werther
JAHO Otello (love love this production, the drama, ugh, loves it)
KAUFMANN Fidelio
GARANCA Don Carlos
Most importantly, happy to see the new Swan Lake is back. Second favourite thing I've ever seen at ROH (after the ring cycle). (Does loving Swan Lake make me a basic b¿) Hopefully can see it with Hirano.

On another note, ROH, I have had enough of the new website. I'm calling the police.

I've calendareded the Friday and Sunday free concerts, and also the £10 Monday lunchtime recitals. I might have to buy a new pair of trainers.
Is there any way to see a list of when events go on general sale?

Quite a good season for me with lots of highlights. Firstly the obvious ones:
- Anna Netrebko in TOSCA
- Jonas Kaufmann in FIDELIO
Then there is:
- The return of Piotr Beczala in the third cast of LA BOHEME. He is probably one of my favourites of the current crop of tenors, although I am a bit disappointed that he is only doing BOHEME and not something else, as he is many more interesting roles under his belt that he could do (I would have liked him to take on WERTHER for example instead of Florez). I have seen the production before, but may go again just for him.
- ALICE’S ADVENTURES UNDER GROUND
- TURN OF THE SCREW in the Linbury. I have always wanted to see this opera, so will definitely be trying to get tickets for this.
- LUCIA for Nadine Sierra and Vittorio Grigolo.
I would have also liked to have seen DON CARLO, but there is not a suitable date that I can attend with both Garanca and which is a shame.
As a side thought, I thought 5his was a nicely balanced season as well.

Opera -
In terms of international opera stars with Florez, Didonato, Terfel, Kaufman, Mattila, Alagna, Stemme, Grigolo, Jaho and Netrebko it's as strong as it gets. Pleased they're doing Turn of the Screw, Death in Venice, Elektra and Fidelio. Also pleased they are doing Agrippina with Didonato but dismayed the production is by the awful Kosky. Bored they are bringing back yet more Bohemes, Traviatas and Toscas. Depressed they're bringing back the dreadful production of Don Giovanni with the ridiculous, hype-active distracting set and musically butchered ending (how dare they!) Likewise the p*ss-poor Katie Mitchell production of Lucia.
Ballet -
Very, very glad they're bringing back Onegin - one of my very favourite ballets. Also glad they're giving Nutcracker a break and we have Coppelia instead. This has been absent from ROH for far too long. Also really looking forward to the top-notch triple bill of Concerto/Enigma Variations/Raymonda. Disappointed they're not bringing back A Winter's Tale.

They need Bohemes and Traviatas to generate that guaranteed income, also to get new people into opera!
At least bloody Carmen isn't back again!

I looked at the long run of Traviatas & Bohemes & thought "balancing the books"! Though for once I do intend to see one of the Traviata casts.
