Does the lottery offer any other seats than the upper circle? I only watch shows from the stalls and I'm wondering if buying regular tickets is my only option or if I should try my luck. I'm interested in any performance between Wednesday and Saturday, but Wed would probably be the best option in terms of seat selection. It does, but the mincefluencers buy them all up and then sell them privately.

The lottery offers seats across stalls, dress and upper circle; the lottery links get sent out at 2pm every other Monday so you’ll want to be ready for when they come out to be able to get the best seats possible. I’ve been able to get front row on lottery in the past so definitely doable as long as you’re ready! Next drawing is 19th August : )

I won about a month ago, I was lucky and saw the email very quick and got Row E stalls.

What’s the benefit of winning lottery seats for this versus just buying a ticket?

What’s the benefit of winning lottery seats for this versus just buying a ticket? Lottery seats cost 25 GBP, tickets start from 39 GBP and go up to a hundred or something.

There’s something about tickets for OM that causes a mental block for me so I think I am disengaged. I really want to see it and I’m on their mailing list. I feel like I get more email from them than any other show. But any time I log in to buy tickets it feels like some sort of weird MLM scheme to get me to buy so I don’t. (I am generally a reasonably standard person who buys theatre tickets regularly and lives in their inbox so my response to OM emails is just perplexing to me 😹😹😹)

Yes, but you have to be very on the ball with checking your email precisely at 2pm on draw days. On the dot. From what i’ve seen, the best lottery seats go within 5-10 minutes. Also, they seem to release better seats in some lottery cycles than others. For what it’s worth, I’ve seen some amazing seats available on lottery before such as front row of the Dress Circle and prime Stalls (rows A-D)

It also includes some kind of after party with free drinks, programme, popcorn etc. So it's still expensive but it's not just the usual ticket.

I got the email earlier in the week saying I hadn’t won the lottery; fair enough. Next day, get another email saying now I have. Didn’t check so didn’t use. Grrrr.

Won the lottery, got a nice stall ticket and finally saw it yesterday. Fun show but I would never pay the full price for this.
I cannot figure out who played Charles yesterday, the two actors on the cast list look fairly similar. Can someone help me out?

I was hoping I might win the lottery today, as I have an evening show booked a week on Tuesday so an Operation Mincemeat matinee would have fitted in nicely beforehand, but of course I didn't. I don't know how some people seem to win it all the time. I've only won twice in almost 18 months & the second time I couldn't even use it as I had too much already booked for that fortnight.

I did just win the lottery, which has not happened very often. Booked for next week. Either I got in at the right time, or there are a lot of seats available.

Thanks for the info. I don't recall Tuesdays being excluded when I signed up so maybe that's another change along with the ever-escalating prices. At this rate I may never see the show again.

Tuesdays have never been included in the lottery it has always been Wednesday to Saturday I must have forgotten then, which is not entirely surprising given how long it's been since I signed up. Given how few shows have Tuesday matinees, that's distinctly annoying that there's no way to see Operation Mincemeat's Tuesday matinee for under £50, which is more than I'm prepared to pay for it.

Big day at the Fortune - with Claire, Chloe and Emily all off, today's cast comprises all four of the original understudies, plus Zoe, who has been drafted in to reprise her role as Bevan et al!

Various 'puzzles' have started appearing around New York City, 'discovered' by Tiktok influencers. It would seem an announcement may be imminent.
