Posters now up on the show's website for £10 - they're signed by the full company including alternates too, nice little touch! Appears they're back in stock again if anyone missed out last time. Now Sold Out

Got a couple of questions about the lottery, if anyone's able to answer it would be greatly appreciated!
Firstly, from what I can see you'll get an email on the Monday afternoon with a ticket purchasing link. If we call that Monday the start of Week 1, does that link cover ticket purchasing for Week 1 and Week 2, or would it be for Week 2 and Week 3? The website T&Cs state "over the following two performance weeks" so I'm not sure which weeks are being referred to there.
Secondly, since the lottery is every other week, does anyone know which upcoming dates will have draws?
In short, I'm so rarely in London that I don't want to "waste" a lottery win when I'm not going to be there, so trying to work out which lottery I DO need to enter/pay attention to for future trips!

It would cover weeks 1 and 2, and the next draw should be Monday 29th April (the last one was the 15th). The emails go out at 2pm and I would recommend watching your email at that time - if you win, the better seats usually get taken quickly.

Casting teaser posted on the OM social media pages... any clues? The last paragraph looks like Claire-Marie Hall is staying on as Jean (I've been 3 times and never seen her!), but can't make out any other of the new names at all.

Yeah with the list at the top; Hester, Charlie, Monty and Bevan being recast but Jean (Claire) not

Very interesting! Chloe Hart is certainly a name that would fit into the space on the B line.

I suspect the cast change announcement will be in tandem with the Broadway transfer confirmation.

Jen Caldwell was rumoured for this a couple of weeks ago but she’s going to be in the new cast of Kathy and Stella, so unfortunately we can count her out.
It’s interesting that the first name on that list doesn’t have any letters revealed.

I heard Emily Barber rumoured for Montagu. Also Chloe Hart as Bevan.

I'd heard them say that any of the roles could be played by any gender, but I imagine this makes things difficult in terms of the songs' keys etc. - will be interested to see if they stick to the same casting mold as the original cast and their understudies

Do we know for sure yet when the new cast are taking over? I have tickets for the end of May. I'd love to see the originals but would be excited to see the takeovers too as I'm sure the Olivier win will have attracted a lot of talent.

Christian, who currently understudies Hester, his name fits in the space for Hester in the font size they are using.
A few of the existing and rumoured new cast follow someone called George Jennings, who has his name as Jorj on instagram, so that lines up with Charles.

I heard Emily Barber rumoured for Montagu. Also Chloe Hart as Bevan. Emily could well be right- being both followed by and following a number of cast!

I actually grew up doing am dram in Suffolk with George and he's a phenomenal talent - sincerely hope it's him as he is very deserving!!

Wonder why Claire-Marie Hall has decided to stay on as opposed to go to Broadway? I do feel slightly bad for her - only one of the main cast not to be nominated too. She's wonderful. This post seems to confirm that all of the original cast, minus Hall, will go to Broadway, so I hope it's her decision not to go...

You need working visas for everyone, and isn’t it a thing that you can only take a certain amount over for one show? They’ve got the 3 creators and the Olivier winner.

Is this seriously going to Broadway?
I just can’t see it working there. It’s a very British show.

Presumably it won’t open on Broadway until early 2025. Spitlip will be using that time to work with producers on the transfer (and rest their legs!), while I assume Jak will take time off and/or take on something relatively short-term between now and the end of the year.
I don’t think Claire-Marie is being ‘left behind’ at all. I suspect she is just happy to stay with the West End production until the end of the new cast’s contracts on 23rd November, have a lovely Christmas and off to Broadway with everyone else next year. At least, that’s what I assume and hope is the case.
It also is no bad thing to have some continuity to help the new cast bed in. Claire-Marie is a bloody hard worker, I’m sure her presence will be invaluable to them.
Also, I constantly hear people suggesting OM is somehow “too British” for NY. My understanding is American audiences enjoy British theatre and the positive write ups in the US press only support that. I do think we sometimes have an overinflated view of our sacred British humour when actually Americans are just as capable of ‘getting it’.
I doubt it will run as long on Broadway as it has/will here though, not because of the show’s content but because of how cut throat it is over there when it comes to the financials. It will run long enough to be eligible for Tony nominations, I am sure.

I think if it had opened on Broadway this season it would probably have been the front runner for Best Musical/Best Book quite easily. Next season has Smash and Tammy Faye to compete with but I’d imagine it has a good shot next year too.

I fully acknowledge that from the show’s perspective it’s better to have some continuity as the new cast joins but, like you, I hope it was her decision to stay in the West End rather than go with the others to Broadway.

I also don’t think that this rules out Claire going to Broadway with the rest of the cast!
The others have been pretty vocal on social media comments about being tired or wanting a break, so I don’t think they’d be hopping straight to Broadway. I feel like she’s got the most West End experience of the group, so maybe just has a bit more stamina to keep going with the West End cast first for a few more months rather than taking a long break in between.
Think it’ll be at least the start of next year before it goes to Broadway and I’m sure if she wanted to join they could justify needing her to complete the successful formula of the show.

I really hope that suspicion with Christian Andrews taking over as Hester full time is true! He is fab.
