Very little add here other than what others have said, but saw the matinee today having not seen it before and thought it was incredible.
The songs were amazing, the cast fantastic, and it was so funny. This has easily taken the spot of my new go-to recommendation when friends and family want a show to see. Just brilliant.

Saw it last week and loved it - great fun, some great songs in there too (a better score than some written by much more experienced composers), I was humming Making A Man and the sea chanty coming out of the theatre. Loved the cast and enjoyed the twist that their gender was irrelevant to the role they were playing. The start of act 2 really made me laugh, even if I felt awful for doing so! I loved the glitzy finale, but loved the very end of the finale even more and thought it was very touching.

Absolutely loved the show, Natasha's comedic timing is like no other! Her improvisation when the ceiling lights accidentally hit the floor last night was hilarious and had the audience in stitches. Though am confused with one thing: what is the design on their yellow-background poster supposed to be? I've been staring at it for ages and still can't seem to make out what it is. I only realised recently it’s meant to be Hitler I didn't realize until Felix scribbled in an eye and chin while signing my program.  |

The artwork isn't especially effective as many don't realise what it actually is See I think the opposite. I think they’ve gone for subtlety rather than “HELLO COME SEE OUR HITLER MUSICAL”. Also for the fact that hitler doesn’t even play a part in the show, he’s just referenced, I guess they don’t want to either turn people off or give them the idea that it’s about hitler. I think it’s very clever the way they’ve done it. |

I saw Operation Mincemeat last night in its new West End home, after very much enjoying it at Riverside last summer. I can only really echo others' feedback on here, but once again I absolutely loved it. What a funny, fast-paced but also touching show with 5 incredible performances. I loved the new upgraded set but still maintaining its simplicity from a studio setting.
I can't praise this show enough, all 5 cast members are so well-suited to their roles, but I must give a special mention to the comedic timing of Natasha Hodgson as Montagu - perfection! I really hope this show continues to run beyond its current planned ending in July, as the show and creators absolutely deserve it. Am very much looking forward to the cast recording being released next month. Would definitely recommend to anyone to go see it!

Every time I open this thread, I'm hoping there'd be an announcement that dynamic pricing has kicked in or that tickets after April will be discounted. However, I'm seeing the same blanket pricing imposed even on the cheaper preview tickets still. Driving me crazy as everyone seems so enamoured with it  Has anyone successfully used the link for the mailing list exclusive tickets? I tried a few weeks ago. It said promo code applied but the "discounted" price seems to be the same as full price. |

They have looked at the pricing once it opens though...
Mondays and Tuesdays - £39.50
Wednesdays - £59.50
Thursdays - £69.50
Fridays and Saturdays - £79.50
This is vastly different from what we started with

I caught the Saturday matinee just gone; and I was laughing SO hard. Absolutely brilliant - five talented actors, this incorporated so many different musical styles as well. Blown away. Was meant to see at the Southwark Playhouse a few years back, had to return my ticket. Really enjoyed this! Natasha as Montagu is a star! I am so tempted to revisit - I caved and purchased a £39.50 ticket. My first visit to this venue; I will say the stalls bar is TINY! Hope they discount as I hope they don’t kick themselves in the teeth.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. It owes a nod or 2, to Hamilton and Six, but the whole piece is very well done. I felt it lagged a little in the second half pr maybe I was just tired from a long day, but I thought the ending was very touching. Jack Malone was the star of the show for me, his Hestor and Spillsbury was both wonderful and I loved Hester's song about the love letter.
I also got to finally tick The Fortune off my list of West End Theatres to visit. It seems like the coverings have been up over the theatre of years now, so it was nice to see the actual front of it again.

I do worry that the pricing will be the death of this, if anything is. It's such a good show and I've told so many people they have to go and see it, but then they balk at the prices (which is understandable). I want it to thrive but I worry it just won't if no one's willing to gamble that much on a ticket to see it. So many people seem to be repeat visitors at the moment, based on what I've overheard at the interval and pre/post show, and based on the reactions to parts of the show that have been changing over previews.

2h30 is pretty accurate at the moment. Just make sure you check whether the show starts at 7:30 or 8 on the day you're there!
