I have always wanted to go to the Proms. Well this year I get my wish. My brother, who is MD for English National Ballet is conducting the Strictly Prom on July 23rd. So so excited.
(If I have posted this in the wrong place, or threads like this are not allowed I'm sorry!)

I love the Proms! Always try to go to at least one, usually by "promming" where you queue up on the day for a £5 ticket that gets you into the centre bit of the Albert Hall. Always a lovely experience- either packed in and standing with loads of other enthusiastic people or sat on the floor spread out just enjoying the music!

Almost time for my brother conducting "Strictly Prom" on Thursday night. I won't be there but I will be watching him on Friday night BBC4 @ 7.30.
So excited and proud of him.
