It's very dependent on circumstances whether said show will go ahead at the Dominion or not, but their possibility means that Prince of Egypt is extremely unlikely to extend.

Moulin Rouge? That's the only thing I can think of. (Though I still have my Starlight Express related dreams....)
Tootsie and Pretty Woman if/when they finally make it over I assume would be after Adelphi type sized theatres.

"Bat Out Of Hell 2 - This Time We Have A Plot" is what I'm hearing... That's option 2 - there is a show paying a hefty amount of cash for the Dominion as a contingency plan

Tootsie can't fill the 1,600-seat Marquis Theatre on Broadway, so if they have any sense, they would try for a 1,000-1,200 house in London (although that didn't stop Waitress from overreaching...). The Nederlander has ~1,200 seats and the cheapskate sets of Pretty Woman looked lost even there and it wasn't a massive success by any stretch of the imagination. So I think the Adelphi would be a bad choice for both, let alone the Dominion.
Moulin Rouge perhaps, but the Al Hirschfeld has only 1,400 seats, too. I could see that one at the Adelphi. And by bringing Starlight Express into the Dominion they'd solve the seat-surplus easily by removing the side-stall-seats for a race track. I'M HERE FOR IT.
Wasn't there talk of Back to the Future at the Dominion? It hasn't announced a theatre in London yet, has it?

You’re quite right Viserys - I forgot about Back To The Future needing a theatre. Yup, convinced will be that now!

Back to the Future is not going to a large theatre- they want the Adelphi.
And Moulin Rouge has it’s theatre booked..and it’s not the Adelphi ..

I don't see the point honestly of these "well something is going in there but i'm not telling you what" posts.
If you would like to give TheatreBoard a nice exclusive or even a less than subtle hint, go for it, but lets please not just post teasers for the sake of causing a bit of a stir. It's not fair.

Well Moulin Rouge has just announced for Australia in 2021. I'm assuming it's coming here before that?

"Bat Out Of Hell 2 - This Time We Have A Plot" is what I'm hearing... And the story we got for Bat 1 in London was after they brought in a ghost writer to sharpen the story in Manchester!! God knows what a mess it was there.

Agreed! I appreciate people can't directly say what show they are referring to if they are scared their sources will find out and stop feeding them information, but the whole "I know something you don't and I'm going to tell you that but not actually give you any information" routine gets really tiresome and irritating, really quickly. I'd honestly rather not know anything at all than be left with the feeling of being teased and inferior because I don't have industry contacts.

Alexia Khadime singing with Christine Allado sounds incredible already. I’ve really missed Alexia’s voice, I hope we get a cast recording of this. Their version of “When You Believe” is going to be rousing and gorgeous. Everything you want from an 11:00 number, I already have chills!

I can't wait for this! The cast looks great, and I can't wait to finish work to have a listen to the snippets they've released, I would hope they do a cast recording, but I suppose that all depends on how well it sells, and if this is the definitive version of the show they want to commit to a recording!

The performances seem like they'll be strong which is good! I'm still worried about the direction but hopefully it won't be a problem, it seems like they're putting a lot of effort into the production (and I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the plagues is in there in some form).

I plagues are a vital part of the story, so you hope most definitely that they would feature! And the song that features in the film will sound great with a proper ensemble cast, so keeping fingers crossed!

I meant the song specifically because it's definitely one of the best in the film in my opinion (although they're all great!). I have no doubt the plagues will happen but I don't see anything they come up with to replace the song being as chilling as it is.
