The cast recording is wonderful.
With immaculate timing, I'll be on a train (to London) on Friday morning when tickets go on public sale. I have a little free time when I arrive, which I'll more or less certainly spend making a quick trip to the Young Vic to buy in person. I don't want to miss this.

I mean god knows if I'll even be alive by the time it opens but I'll try for tickets anyway.

Stop Press: TODAY TIX are operating an exclusive PRE-SALE for all Young Vic shows in the new season. First thing that comes up when you open the app this morning.

Thanks for the heads up! Decided to go ahead and book now, since I won't be awake when public booking opens on Friday!

Thanks so much that was so easy and means I don't have to remember to do it on Friday. I never used to book shows so far in advance but they are always on sale so far ahead and I worry if I don't book them won't get a seat

Was like a kid on Christmas when I opened my email this morning and read about the presale on TodayTix! Glad I decided against buying the Young Vic membership to get early access - meant I could buy tickets for 2 dates with the money saved 😀

Sadly have no money currently. If for some miraculous reason there are tickets left a week Friday i'll book, but otherwise it just wasn't meant to be...

I worry a bit about this, I've booked seats but how do we know that the TodayTix allocations aren't all the extreme edges and backs of their pricing areas?

The tickets on the Young Vic website are all unallocated too, so far, so they could just as easily end up being the edges and backs too.

I always always get the cheapest tickets at the Young Vic, and even when I've been tucked away in the weirdest corners, my view has been fine. I believe Fun Home is going to be in the round, so there won't even be any weird corners to be tucked away in, and the very back rows will be a lot closer to the stage than if it were in an end-on configuration. Yeah, you'll be at the mercy of the TodayTix allocation but actually, if they don't have seating plans yet, I don't see how they can have set aside the worst seats in a section for TodayTix bookers.

Wow, thanks so much for flagging this up! I just booked. Bizarre experience booking so far ahead as I literally have no idea what'll be going on in a year, and may well forget I booked at all, but I'm not risking missing out.

This was a fantastic joint venture on the parts of TodayTix, especially. I'm a frequent visitor to the app but have yet to make a purchase through it, until now. I can't help but feel that if I had succumbed to the Young Vic membership last week that I'd be spitting feathers today.

Slightly annoyingly, I can see a much better range of tickets on TodayTix now than when I looked this morning. It wasn't showing any £13 ones available then, and there's plenty now... Ah well, it'll make a change to pay effectively 'full price' for something and not just go in previews for once!

(also - has it been mentioned anywhere that although Its the same creative team its a new production? I'm too lazy to scroll back through the threat, and but the blurb on the YV website doesn't mention it... but it is)
