Sadly Jodie won't be availible. She is doing Shirley Valentine until October, then doing the tryout of new musical Fat Friends in Leeds and I beleive she is also doing panto, bur I may be wrong? So she would only be able to do it if the show extends.

Kerry Ellis as Hannigan? That would work.... It wouldn't bring in the masses as no one outside the theatre fans really know who she is, but personally, I would love to see that!

I remember Kerry Ellis! Wasn't she turned down on The Voice once then begged to be let on Tom Jones team anyway?

I can see it being a soap star getting the role.
My dream casting would be Jane Lynch, she played Miss Hannigan on Broadway but the chances of that happening are very slim lol

I wonder if TodayTix will be offering rush tickets for this as well.

Is this production using the 'jigsaw pieces' set? As far as I know yes, it's the production that toured the UK a couple of years ago.

thank you Daniel. I was just wondering as a local society are doing it and are trying to be wonderfully inventive, by building a set made of blue jigsaw pieces. This drives me mad. my first instinct when I direct or design a show from scratch is to deliberately rethink the show. Obviously some pieces are dependent on a big staircase or helicopter or whatever, but there is nothing worse than seeing a production that is a pale copy of someone else's design, especially when this other design is so distinctive. be original, for heck's sake.
