Still Amazes Me Hamilton won best choreography Over this Because there was nothing new in the choreography. it's the same thing for every production of 42nd Street. As opposed to the Hamilton one Which is also the same in every single production And tour

Until then, you dont.

I get the same chills watching this on screen tonight as I did watching it from the centre of the front row yesterday afternoon!
I could see Bonnie around the back so I knew she was about to appear. And when she did, the place erupted.
Doesn't even matter about people cheering over the tapping at the end. The whole moment was magical, with the whole place on their feet at the end.
And that was only the matinee!
Have you all swiped left to watch the 2nd video of the usher at the back of the stalls dancing. Brilliant.

Did Bonnie do every show of her 4 month run? I am not 100% sure but I am pretty sure she did every one. Steph came on as Maggie in those 4 months but pretty sure she never went on again as Dorothy. I stand to be corrected if wrong.

I stand to be corrected if wrong. You're correct. Bonnie didn't miss a single show in her run, Steph's final show as lead Dorothy was indeed her final show as Dorothy all together. As mentioned, she did go on as Maggie for a few weeks and last night joined the rest of the cast for the final bow.

Even not being as a much a physically demanding role as Clare’s, to do circa 120 performances without missing one shows what a true star Bonnie is.

I am not good with technology so do not know how to post a photo on here!
If you look on Jae's Twitter page you will see less than 2 hours post show they have gutted the stalls already!
May be Daniel can do it, he is young and Beautiful!

Something I loved was during Dames, some of the girls got cheers when they came out individually, like Billie who is the first out. Funnily enough, I bumped into her before the first show on her way to the theatre and I said congratulations to her and she instantly just burst into tears which obviously wasn't my intention but it was clear on stage she struggled to stop crying, especially in Act 2!
I got to sit next to the family of the actress playing Gladys and they also cheered when she came out in her Dames outfit, which of course I joined them in!

I can not believe how quick they ripped them out after we left - So sad ( Mind you they were uncomfortable!) It is nice to see Jae as well, he was always the best conductor. I thought he was going to either loose his Baton or fall off the podium last night. He really was on fire! Credit never really goes tot he orchestra, buth these guys were amazing as well and without them there would be no show!

No wonder they were asking us to leave as quickly as possible. Sounds like the demolition crew were literally waiting in the wings.

If you think back to that stop-motion video of the set being built, you’ll recall that the stalls seats were missing. So maybe it was to do with the get out rather than the start of the refurb.

Agree it was a marvellous night, memories to cherish.
Did anyone hear the bell being rung 3X? Couldn't hear it from wide out in the stalls?

No I think that was why alot of people stayed long after the Orchestra ended, because Tom made a point in his speech about it so everyone thought they would hear it. But I was at the very front and didn't hear a thing although apparently one fan said they heard it in the front, so maybe.

Agree it was a marvellous night, memories to cherish. Did anyone hear the bell being rung 3X? Couldn't hear it from wide out in the stalls? I couldn't hear it in the second row. I did hear a discussion with someone in the business who said that it wouldn't be audible (a tiny bell and more ceremonial I presume). Pity they couldn't hook a microphone up to it or something, but maybe there's a video floating around.

Blimey. Judging by the size of it they would have heard it down the road. Maybe it's an illusion bell and made of paper.

Anyone else still a bit shell-shocked from Sat? I can't decide whether listening to the soundtrack will help or make me more sad.

Wasn’t the bell rung whilst the orchestra play out was still happening? The way it was worded was it would sound as the closing curtain came in and that happened during the play out did it not? Maybe that’s why nobody heard it? At least that’s the way I interpreted it

I wonder if Ashley Gay is resting his little tired feet today. And if he needs someone to give him a foot rub.
