Also, it should go without saying but people are allowed to have opinions on thinking certain shows are better than others without being told to leave or delete their account. For GOODNESS sake Snutte - it was a jokkkkkkke!!!! Half a Sixpence is a terrific show and if anyone prefers that then fine. Haha.... Really... One question - are you English or American? And if so based here in the UK or the US?

Maybe you didn't see my following post, so I'll paste it here for you: 'It's one thing for someone to say that to a forum regular but palace only has 12 posts and immediately being told to leave by two members is not the most welcoming environment, jokily or otherwise in my opinion. This is clear as palace has confirmed that they did take the posts seriously. All forums have different atmospheres, different levels of seriousness used etc. (just look at the difference between here and BroadwayWorld) and it will take a while for new users to get used to this forum.' I'm English and live in the UK.

All this talk of those bargain Row A seats and I somehow seem to have booked A1. Twice. So that's my Aug/Sep dancing feet fix taken care of

I really enjoyed seeing Half A Sixpence at the Noel Coward Theatre in London on Wednesday 25th January 2017 and Charlie Stemp as Arthur Kipps was brilliant along with the rest of the cast Well that would be great if Half A Sixpence did a filmed performance with Charlie Stemp and the current London cast from the Noel Coward Theatre in London for Xmas this year on TV on BBC Four and on DVD like Gypsy did in 2015 and I hope there will be an announcement for it soon before the show finishes it's run on Saturday 2nd September

The front upper circle is fine if you don't mind a bit less legroom. Centre block, or not too far off in the side ones. There's cheap pairs of seats off the aisle in the front rows too, that are pretty good. Another bargain is row YY centre block stalls. Third price, but raised above everything in front so the view is over the heads of the rest of the stalls. Even the balcony has a decent view, but for that one, avoid the side blocks for the first couple of rows.
Thank you theatremonkey.com and also poster j for your help.

Booked the legendary A23 for mid-July. Can't wait. I think I must have been a hoofer in another life!

My review of Saturday's matinee:
This is a big show. A big big big show which opens with a chorus of 42 pairs of tapping feet as the curtain rises as if to say, top this!
Sheena Easton is still out with the ‘flu, so CJ Johnson is playing the brittle and slightly past-it Dorothy Brock, and she’s a knockout. The Boulevard of Broken Dreams number is marvellous, and I Only Have Eyes for You is sweet.
As the young juvenile Billy Lawlor, Stuart Neal has bags of energy, and his musical comedy made me think of the great vaudevillian Bert Wheeler, a comic hoofer who also sang and played the eternal youth.
The pivotal role of Peggy Sawyer, who ‘goes out a youngster, but has to come back a star’, only works if the actress has that sprinkling of fairy dust which makes you think she has it, and Clare Halse has the innocence of a Ruby Keeler as well as the steel of a Ginger Rogers.
Tom Lister’s Julian Marsh may well be charmed by this fresh young thing who still believes in her dreams: she makes him less jaded, he makes her more knowing.
Also of note in the leading cast are Jasna Ivir and Christopher Howell as writers and low comedians Maggie and Bert. Howell teams with Emma Caffrey’s Anytime Annie (‘the only time she said no she didn’t hear the question’) for Shuffle Off To Buffalo, while Ivir leads the girls in Go Into Your Dance.
I also like Bruce Montague’s hick millionaire Abner and Graeme Henderson’s dance captain Andy, the former a good comic foil and the latter an accomplished showman.
As for those routines, we get big staircases, a railway station, a mirror which reflects reclining ladies in a sequence which apes the best of Busby Berkeley, chorus lines of high camp and high kicks, beautiful costumes and countless set changes.
The songs are by Harry Warren and Al Dubin, direction by Mark Bramble, and the fabulous orchestra is conducted by Jae Alexander.

Had booked to go and see Life of Galileo at the Young Vic tonight with a £10 ticket but have had a change of heart since a row B stalls ticket has come up for this tonight. Maybe they are starting a tiny bit of dynamic pricing as this is usually top price?

Yes, looks like downward dynamic pricing. I don't think row B was ever £15 even when the whole of A and AA were.
Also I just looked at todaytix and rush tickets for tonight are still available - I was offered the side block of row N of the stalls for £25.

She was last night. Didn't really understand what the fuss is. Her acting is as stiff as a plank of wood. She has a nice voice, but everything is forgettable and sounds too similar, personally.

I have A 23 and 24 for tonight, but can't make it. (free tickets to The Girls instead of my 4th viewing of 42nd Street!) Don't want the seats to be empty...any takers? Message me.
