Yessssss!!!! Bonnie looks great. I assume she’s leaving Eastenders then. Press release of 42nd Street was timed with her departure from EE, she's leaving in the Autumn but likely filming her final scenes at the moment. |

Glad its announced, she looks amazing and as soon as I heard it was her I thought she would be fabulous.
The clue with the whole why she didn't start in the Summer was because of the current storyline she is in the middle of haha. But that will lead to a natural departure for the character.
Is Bonnie the first person ever to of played Peggy only to go on to play Dorothy in a later production?

Bonnie Langford will be fabulous in this. Although it always depresses me that consummate theatre professionals like her need the TV exposure to be offered a leading role in the theatre. The same thing happened to her theatre career (which mainly consisted of annual pantomime) after appearing on Dancing On Ice, she then went into a leading role in Chicago - a part she would not have been offered if not for the TV exposure!
I don't watch EastEnders but friends tell me she was/is very good in it.
