A transfer to the Theatre Royal Haymarket after the UK Tour seems to be on the cards! Is that the news announcement to come on the 19th? Not the cast recording? EDIT: Sorry, not an easy question to answer without a crystal ball. Apologies 😂

Maybe a bit of both as Take That have an announcement scheduled for this Friday (please be Robbie rejoining... please be Robbie rejoining....) but there's also a Q&A thing with the Producers and fans planned for next week in London.

Not sure who Carl Woodward is (apart from seemingly being Mark Shenton's new BFF), but he also has the same info - though he seems to have a hatred for the show so not sure why he cares!

Well one thing's for sure - no-one can accuse the Haymarket of lacking diversity in its programming.

Strange one,,surprised at this, as musicals are normally open run, however this is due to play Dartford, high is just on the outskirts of London. Cannot see both playing at the same time, neither there be 2 seperate companies.
Confused!!!

I agree with PoL - it's odd timing given that it will have just played Wimbledon, and will have Woking, Milton Keynes and Dartford not long after.
Still, stranger things have happened.

Could be a 6 week Christmas filler? According to the website the show ends in Belfast on 24 Nov, and resumes on the road at The Lowry on 16 Jan.

Is it worth seeing? And how does one get the code for priority booking?

The Take That mailing list perhaps?
Baz says there will be a charity gala performance with Take That on December 5th and tickets are not on sale yet for that.

Is it worth seeing? And how does one get the code for priority booking? In my opinion yes. It will help if you like Take That's music of course but it's a play with music in my opinion and a pretty touching story. Not sure about priority booking code. Maybe check the theatre website on Friday?

I assume the set is designed to fit a venue the size of the Haymarket. Given it's in the process of being sold, it's interesting the current owners wanted a Christmas filler already, they must have their late summer/early Autumn show planned already pencilled in

Is it worth seeing? And how does one get the code for priority booking? It’s aimed very much at a particular demographic, and I don’t just mean TT fans I mean female TT fans of a certain generation. It’s quite heavy on the sisterhood theme. I’m not saying no-one else will enjoy it, I was singing along at the end with the rest of them but subtle it ain’t and I was very conscious that it wasn’t really “for me”. Of course that other juke box musical Bat Out Of Hell isnt very subtle either but it’s so much more joyful and inclusive, and of better quality than The Band.

Bah Humbug. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. It's Christmas "gifts" like this that make me wish I was Jewish.

Pre-sale sale???
Anyway, Gary, Mark and Howard are on The One Show on Monday, presumably to announce to the wider public that The Band is coming to London's glittering West End.

Two of the ladies from the cast are on too and quite rightly so. They have barely got a mention in the Gary Barlow PR roadshow so far despite being onstage for most of the time.

Couldn't decide whether I wanted to see this or not, after debating it for the past month or so I've decided to book myself a ticket. I do like Take That's songs but I wasn't fully sold on this show, positive reviews have convinced me to give it a go. Booked for when the show hits Bristol. Doesn't appear to be selling all that well currently (compared to other venues at least), plenty of empty seats to choose from, only front stalls seem to have sold. Granted that is a weekday evening but there's still quite a few seats for Friday & Saturday's shows

If I'm gonna see it, it will be during its Christmas run. I don't really have a desire too, but I like seeing new musicals so sure. I am more intriuged what the Summer/Autumn filler will be!

Another huge advert for The Band on The One Show tonight. Have the bbc got some sort of investment in this or something?

Take That and cast members did a bit of PR performing on the roof of their London theatre at lunchtime, as you do.
