Ah yes - I was just wondering in reference to the earlier post about her having holiday at the end of August! I wonder if it will be week commencing 27th August in which case she will still be performing on Saturday 25th? I didn’t see her instagram post where she mentioned her holiday dates. She said in an Instagram story yesterday that this is her last week before holiday, so sounds as if she may well be on this Saturday. Awesome! I'm sure I'll enjoy it whoever is on :-)

Is it known when Adrienne is staying to? I’m trying to work out if I should fit this show in with Company in December or Waitress in March.

Unlikely she will be there in March, especially if she signed on for just 6 months - so would try and slot it in December

I'd be very surprised if there weren't plans in motion for her to take this back to New York when her contract is up here...

The show opened in March so I presume cast change will happen in March and she’ll leave then? Has anybody done the lottery for this on the website? Is it likely to win at one of the performances?

Just come back from this and I really hate to say it but I was disappointed. Nothing to do with Adrienne as she was just brilliant, but the show itself and tone was all off for me. It felt like a very good tribute act and I just wanted to kick myself for never seeing the real Tina Turner when she was actively touring.
I’m a big fan of the What’s Love Got To With It film and the portrayal of Ike on stage is so much like a cartoon villain, it just makes no sense how or why he was able to manipulate people as he just came across as a mad man. Nothing like the slimy charmer portrayed by Laurence Fishburne.
The Wednesday audience full of crumbly coach parties (no offence, but the average age was about 60 and not an ethnic minority in sight apart from my own friend). We even saw the one and only Barry Manilow there tonight outside during the interval.
I thought it was getting better in the second act with the disappearance of Ike, but the story just started dragging a bit not long after Tina got to London. I just kept thinking the whole time how wonderful Memphis was in comparison. I just don’t think jukebox musicals work for me at all, no matter how much I’ve tried.

I feel the same about jukebox musicals. I only went because it was Tina, but there's just something about the whole concept and contrivance that I find inherently sh*t!

On Wednesday an email came into my inbox saying I had won & 24 hours to claim to attend the performance on Thursday 30 August which was obviously hard without a time machine!! 😁
The team have been great, was a system glitch and I’m now going on lottery tickets on Wednesday!!

I see they're putting a new booking period on sale at 12pm on 24 September (performances to the end of July 2019).
Does anyone know if cast change will be the end of the current booking period (i.e. 16 February) - if Adrienne leaves (as I suspect she well given the rumours of a Broadway transfer) then I definitely want to be at her last show!

Well. For someone like Tina who has had such an eventful life it sure makes for one dreary musical. I don't think I've been so bored by a musical since 'Hamilton' and it really only comes alive when it turns into 'Stars In Their Eyes' at the end.
Adrienne Warren is terrific, there's no doubt about it and she gives it absolutely everything (I'd be surprised if the Olivier isn't hers next year) but yet she also strangely irritated me with her Tina Turner impression which really sounded nothing like Tina Turner. When she forgets being Tina and let's her own vocals rip she's astonishing but she spends most of the time speaking and singing in this really odd self-reverential way. The script is so appallingly lightweight that it makes 'Mamma Mia' look like a Pulitzer Prize winner, some of the songs are shoehorned into the show in a really embarrassing way and the set is so simple that even 'Anastasia' fans would think it needs a "little something extra" but the worst thing about it is that it's just so boring and say what you like about her, Tina's life wasn't boring.
On the plus side, Tom Godwin as Terry Britten singing 'What's Love Got To Do With It' steals the show, Adrienne's golden fringe frock is a showstopper, I love how the sound booth man at the back of the stalls has an old fashioned telephone to speak into and there's an afro bedecked hottie behind the bar which made the interval worthwhile. The 'concert' section at the end was probably the best bit when all of the cast come on stage and do a bit of "Tina dancing" but by then it's really more a tribute act than a musical. The great unwashed loved it though, they were up on their feet the first chance they got. I don't think they get out much.
Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be . . .

This isn't downtown Gaylordsville, Connecticut you know. We put the letter 'u' in words where they're supposed to be here. "Fall" indeed. It's AUTUMN!

That makes sense given her contract is presumably ending here in the Spring and she can then have a bit of a break. She is absolutely the right person to take this to Broadway.
Would be great to know the date of her last show here as I would love to be there - does anyone know when cast change is likely to be?

I reckon it'll go to the Lunt Fontanne if they want it in a Nederlander theatre

When does Adrian Leave thanks guys wanna surprise my mum for her bday in April If it's a typical UK contract, I'd imagine she will leave March/April 2019. However, she is potentially the favourite to win the Olivier at this point, so they may keep her on until the end of April to keep her with the show through the whole Olivier's thing.

I was on the fence about this one but guess I'd better get my ticket so I won't be kicking myself when it is a hit on Broadway and I won't be able to afford to see it then. Especially if anyone knew I had a chance to see it in London and didn't. So clicking a box for this. Because I'm shallow like that

Cast recording or solo album, or just a single song, do we know yet?

She has been recording a solo album recently, but I imagine with the news of a transfer now confirmed it’ll only be a matter of time before we get a cast recording.
