Carl Man will be making his 2nd cover Shakespeare debut today for both shows (Fri 3rd Feb) ✨ Can confirm he was absolutely fantastic! He is a wonderful Romeo too, hope you get to see him. I'm hoping he'll be on the tour 🤞

I would be very surprised if Carl doesn't get to go on as Romeo again, Tom seems to have a lot of time off (indicated by the fact Carl has done over 100 shows as Romeo).

Sorry if this has been answered but has the final show actually sold out or are they holding back tickets?

Sorry if this has been answered but has the final show actually sold out or are they holding back tickets? It's supposedly sold out. Pretty much did within 24 hours of announcing the closure date and then they released some additional (apparently last) tickets a few weeks ago where they did a whole stupid marketing faux pas of tweeting they were giving away the last few tickets for the closing performance. And they only realised very late on that that sounded like free tickets, so quietly removed the tweet and put out a new one saying they will be "releasing the last few tickets". A few people got pretty pissed off about that (understandably) though some were also really stupid and put some in their basket that clearly gave them a price for the tickets, put their credit card details in and then were surprised/annoyed that they actually got charged. LOL So yes, officially it's all sold out but always worth keeping an eye on the website for returns. A lot can happen in the 5 months since the announcement, plans change, etc. so I'm sure the odd one here or there will pop up. :-)

Saw on Twitter that they are stopping rush tickets from next week, and day seats will only be sold if they're available.

Do you think there is any chance it will extend? Don't get back to London until 10 April and really want to see it again.

Hi everyone,
I'm really keen to see &juliet before it closes but all the remaining tickets are just too expensive! I'm hoping to get rush/day seats this Saturday for the evening performance but I'm worried it'll be so popular that I'll be unsuccessful. Has anyone got any tips? Or knows of any offers? Thanks!

I saw it for the last time a week ago and was really disappointed compared to previous visits. Miriam must have either just given up, or had a cold or something because she was barely singing the songs and more styling them out with some shrieks. And I couldn't really believe in the new François, he just didn't seem a very good actor.

Saturday evening might be tough. I tried rush last week for the Friday matinee on TodayTix. I hit the button at 10am sharp and was told, all tickets were already claimed. I kept hitting the button again and again for maybe two minutes until I finally got offered a ticket in the royal circle. So be quick and don’t give up if it tells you that no tickets are available at the moment. Try until it really says sold out. But hopefully you’ll be successful before that.

Same! I am a big fan, but can't afford £80+ to sit at the back.
I saw the new Francois too in Jan, the original one was miles better.

If you go to the box office on the day they will have standing seats available, but they told me no day seats as it's otherwise sold out. You might be lucky and they have the odd single seat left that they reduce, but the only guarantee would be to go early and opt for standing. There's details on their website.

7th and final trip last night to see this before it finishes its run at the Shaftesbury…it’s such a great show. It has real heart and warmth. Lots of small ad libs and looks and touches particularly from Cassidy and Oli. The cast that have been there from the start will clearly miss this show when it ends next week.
I imagine the atmosphere will be mad next week tbh!

Featured on Ant and Dec's takeaway tonight. Someone in the box office was presented with a ticket to their last show in Florida live about 2 mins before curtain up.

It took me a few seconds to work out why so many people on here had given this one-star. The ratings are listed the opposite way round to normal.

If this had been any show other than closing, they'd have taken Miriam off at the interval...
Everyone else stellar - CJ and Olli are such a wonderful team.
Fun show, sad to see it go.

No she just can't sing - this role has destroyed her voice about 18 months ago and she should have left long ago

Some members of the audience were really pushing it with the unnecessary screaming tonight... I get it's closing night, but the people who try to make it all about them should really be told to shut up.

Theatre is certainly subjective... Miriam can't sing indeed... I think she has a wonderful voice. I really enjoyed her performance tonight and that of the entire cast.
The screaming banshees near me not so much... yes it is cast change and there is going to be standing ovations and cheating after every thing but some near me were just being ridiculous and incredibly annoying.
but this show will be hugely missed.

Oh she used to be able to, but her voice is absolutely ruined because of this role (she was an incredible Angelica cover in Hamilton back in the day)
I was bracing myself any time the melody went remotely high last night as I had 0 confidence she was going to hit...any of it.
The screaming was obnoxious too - I expected it to be but it was particularly ridiculous
