They are now doing a Friday matinee for their weekday mat so they are doing two on Fri and two on Sat. I wonder if Miriam will get one of those off so she doesn’t have to do four in a row?!?

Do we know whether all the original cast will be returning?

I had booked for the 21st June and emailed them this morning. They just moved me to the same seat as I had before on the 24th September, so that is great news. This is the only non-socially distanced show I have booked for (apart from Rent at the Hope Mill). I am happy to wait until things are announced for definite but I was at the last show of &Juliet pre-lockdown, so I definitely wanna be there for their first one back. I was at the 2nd to last so am aiming to be at the second Got my new confirmation today, I was at the second to last pre-covid and (if all goes to plan) will be at the second post covid performance!

Tickets booked for a belated - 1 year late - big birthday in October. Crossing fingers…can’t wait!

This would really flop in NYC. They are so fed up with Jukebox musicals there, and this one is clunky.

It cant be that clunky if in the above voting more than 80% give it a four/five star rating

I was going to say, of all the jukebox musicals, this is one of the least clunky. It's well written and the songs actually fit, rather than all that Mamma Mia shoehorning.

The use of songs in this was great and i play the cast recording often. One More Try was even my most played track on Spotify last year, but i would disagree about them not shoehorning them in. That Boy Band joke that just led to them doing the Backstreet Biys was terrible. but i thought the scenes between the songs dragged it down. It was too much of a cheesefest for me.

From above article: The original cast were starting to drift away or off sick at the point where this closed.I saw it at the Shaftesbury and whilst still good the show I saw was definitely missing something without Miriam and Cassidy.
For anyone remotely interested in this I’d highly recommend going before the original cast start to move on again. All of the ones mentioned in the quote above are fantastic.

Just seen Today Tix have added some really good stalls seats to the London Theatre Week offers so I'm going to book as its one show I wanted to see before things closed down.

Row B is the stalls front row for ... Juliet and seats there cost only £35. While there is a bit of a look up to the stage at the Shaftesbury I think that's a bargain price.
Best row B availability November onwards but there are some Row B seats most days in October

Oh dear I do hope so, or it would be incredibly embarrassing I’m there tomorrow. I was at the second last performance so the second one back seemed fitting.
