So where were all the Prince of Egypt predictions?!? I do love when a show is announced out of the blue like that.
Still awaiting new show announcements for the Savoy, Piccadilly and Pinter.

King Kong would be great for the Dominion I think! For the pure spectacle of it all!

I love looking at the first page of this thread to see which of those predictions came true.

Not a prediction, but by the looks of her website Madonna (THE Madonna!) is set to do a residency at the Palladium as part of her tour in early 2020. See the Performers and Creatives thread.

After a bit of a drought on the transfers/rumours front, we now have several new tidbits to consider. The shows that have previously had murmurings around a London run:
Mean Girls Moulin Rouge Anastasia (though all has gone quiet now so I’m doubtful) Pretty Woman
And in more recent weeks:
My Fair Lady Tootsie Back to the Future (intentions for London announced but theatre unconfirmed) Tammy Faye Baker Musical Survivor: the Destiny’s Child Musical
Which of these do we expect to see the light of day? Have any of these gone completely cold now? Which theatres are likely to be the most possible fit?

Cannot see Anything Rotten landing in the West End, could see it being an ATG tour though.
A show that hasn’t announced its coming over and is doing very whell financially and could be described as the new Jersey Boys (BAME) and that is Aint Too Proud: The Temptations Musical. This will be over in the next couple of years, it is the jukebox show Broadway has been waiting for.
King Kong as burned through a lot of investors’ money on Broadway, never a good sign.

Guess we'll have to wait and see. Obviously, something planned elsewhere, as suggested by the website. Fingers crossed.

I can see Ain't Too Proud coming over, not sure what theatre though.
To Kill a Mockingbird is going to come over, it was confirmed in The Hollywood Reporter but theatre wise I'm not sure where, perhaps a limited run at somewhere like the Piccadilly or the Gielgud.

There’s certainly is just opened on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre, likely to win the Tony for best musical, book and score plus best leading actor. Will be in the West End soon.

Hadestown is the show expected to sweep the Tonys, not Tootsie. Most people seem to be expecting Tootsie to win Best Actor and potentially Best Book, but not Best Musical or Score

Less a prediction more a "this is coming"...
Just reading through the programme for On Your Feet and i notice that in the Bio for the produder Jamie Wilson Productions it says they are bringing a new production of Sister Act to London next year.
That is the same producer who did the Alexandra Burke sister act tour a few years ago but it says "brand new production of" so i don't know if it will be the same one or not.

^Well spotted Andy!
Incoming shows: Back to the Future (Following Manchester) Moulin Rouge (Piccadilly 2020 apparently?) Mean Girls (2020) Pretty Woman (2020) Tootsie (2021) Groundhog Day (hopefully!)
From what I've read, quite a lot of these shows want the Adelphi!

I don't have high hopes for & Juliet so i think the Shaftesbury will be available for one of these shows!
I reckon Mean Girls or Pretty Woman replaces 9 to 5 in Autumn 2020 and I have this feeling School of Rock will close in the next few months,

Been a few months since a good bit of speculation and rumour, have compiled some things here. Many from our very own mrbarnaby and other board members. Adelphi - A musical revival lined up for next year in October. Have read here and heard from another source. Should be announced soon (this year). Dominion - A few hints on a show being lined up to follow Prince of Egypt. Savoy - Nothing currently booked after Sunday in the Park. Could Back to the Future take here with the Adelphi being spoken for? Lyric - How long will the refurb take? Could we get a new show there in the Autumn? All the other musical venues seem to have shows which are doing well enough to keep going (School of Rock, Mamma Mia, Come From Away, Tina, Matilda) or freshly opened (Dear Evan Hansen, &Juliet, Mary Poppins) Romantics Anonymous - Possible transfer to Trafalgar Studios (Available from March) or Ambassadors (Available from April). My Fair Lady - ENO 2021 seems to have been mentioned a few times.

I love this thread. Love a bit of speculation and gossip. It's also intersting to go back and look at what has actually come to pass and what hasn't. This forum has been the first to predict or 'announce' so many shows over the last few years! If you've heard anything or have any ideas, don't be shy

I do think the Gillian Lynne will become available next year, not sure what could go there.
In terms of new shows, I think Ain’t Too Proud has a shot of coming over although not sure on which theatre.
