Honourable mention to Christian Borle’s hair in Charlie as well.
Speaking of musicals he’s done, I would LOVE Something Rotten. I thought I’d hate it, only saw it for Adam Pascal and adored it. Also an easy one to Star Cast. (Though Adam will go anywhere you pay him, so he can do a stint)

I'm so here for Adam Pascal returning to London.
Pretty Woman will be plastered all over Europe with Stage Entertainment as a producer.
From the very early word of mouth King Kong doesn't look like it will set Broadway on fire (no pun intended), so I doubt it will transfer.
No one know if Beetlejuice is any good yet, but it's on top of my (very short) list for my own Broadway trip next spring because I love the source material and Sophie Anne Caruso was amazing in Lazarus.
With Comet getting productions in Japan and Brazil, I hope there's still a chance for that one to turn up, I now kick myself for having missed it.

Honourable mention to Christian Borle’s hair in Charlie as well. Yes. One of the many victims of the Broadway transfer (can't really call it that) production.

I mean honestly that is probably the greatest tragedy of Charlie on Broadway.
I wouldn't mind Pretty Woman (haters gonna hate and all) especially if the whole cast did a limited run. I actually don't know if I've ever seen Beetlejuice but it seems like a fun movie-stage adaptation.
And I hope and pray for a Great Comet transfer. Either the Nash or another subsidised house would realistically be the best for it. Let's face it, the thing is weird as all hell and not commercial but god-damn if I didn't think it was one of the best things Broadway has seen in years. Also Groban.

So what theatres are there left to fill? Shaftesbury will be free after refurb in the middle to later portion of the year? Savoy free after 9 to 5. Picadilly free after Curious? So still some movement to be had.
I'm also wondering if Bat and SOR will last much into next year?

Haven't we all mentally blocked out the Savoy for Mean Girls?

Every other actor (male and female) manages a wig without a shaved head... So I'm not quite sure thats the real reason. Plus he wore a hat over it the whole show.

Yeah, I thought that, but can't think of any reason otherwise whatsoever.

Was there any kind of reveal where he turns out to be bald? Did he play the candy man character as bald?

I don't think he's revealed as bald in the show, but I'll watch the bootleg again and check. I mean, even if he did, it wouldn't make any advances to the plot or story

I'm sure I read somewhere that La Borle shaved his head simply because it would save him lots of time in costume covering his hair with wig caps etc.

I've only just remembered that On Your Feet is coming in the Summer. It's so funny we have all mentioned Dear Evan Hansen, Come From Away, Waitress and 9 to 5 as the big Broadway transfers coming over and no one is mentioning On Your Feet. 😂😂

Dominion free from January 5th with Bat Out of Hell announcing closure. In that week, four of the big London theatres will close their shows with Bat and 42nd Street closing on the 5th, and Dreamgirls and Kinky closing the following Saturday!

Not to forget Chicago at the Phoenix too! I wonder whether War of the Worlds will come back for another limited season at the Dominion.

I've never had the desire to see it live so I don't know. It doesn't feel like it's had a stamp in the West End this the around, it's kinda been like Motown for me where I just forget it's there. 😂😂

Motown, aah yes.. Still need to see it. Then I can go back to saying the only West End "musical" I've not seen is Thriller

Hmm... hope not but it does have 2 nights at the O2 mid-December. So it could easily re-mount after 2 weeks off for Christmas. Depends on sales I guess.

Is the Dominion far too big for Me and My Girl? Of course it's too big! That will need a medium size theatre for a limited run I imagine!
