She'd be rather marvellous (lovely voice) and she's scrumptious to look at too. That smile could stop traffic.

I don't think I can imagine a leading man as insufferable. Having said that, it will be a great production. Give me the Tuesday Dolly version of Jackman any day, whoever he may be.

Give me the Tuesday Dolly version of Jackman any day, whoever he may be. Well I don't work on Tuesdays but I have offered Wednesday evening and perhaps a Saturday matinee if they throw in dinner at Sardi's with Aaron Tveit and Gavin Creel. I've already got the band leader outfit and a majorette baton. Don't ask. Thems is my terms.

I'm sure Jackman would do 8 shows a week. Then Adam Pascal could come in for his vacations.

If I remember correctly, "The Boy From OZ" just went dark when Jackman went on Vacation. So they might follow that lead. But, Pascal will definitely be a good vacation cover.

Its not like it will sell to anyone its not like Hugh has stage creed or a tony or anything or a major film role or Sutton has two tonys or a major role in a commercial television show yes yes (sarcasm)

Just a question for those who have seen the show previously or know it. Obviously both Sutton and Hugh will get Tony nominations and probably win for their performances. I'm intirgued though, that with Sutton's role, when Barbra Cook originated the role she was nominated for Featured Actress, whilst Rebecca Luker was nominated for Leading Actress for the same role in the revival. Was more added to the show for Rebecca or was it just one of those catagory placement things? I imagine Sutton would be considered Leading and will garner her seventh Tony nomination in the same catagory and therefore knock Bernadette out of joint second place for the most nominations ever in that catagory, but I'm interested to know whether the role is really A Featured or Leading role?

I'd say it's definitely a leading lady role and I would imagine Sutton Foster would be nominated in the Leading Actress category. Probably Barbara Cook was in Featured Actress because her name was under the title, Robert Preston was the headliner for the original production.

Wonder what time tickets will go on... They don’t seem to have announced the theatre yet so presumably you buy tickets in a price range rather than know exactly where you’re sitting, but who knows!

I would be gobsmacked if the theatre is not announced before tickets are sold. Otherwise it is asking people to basically purchase a lottery ticket but at Broadway prices.
