Hands up who else has never ever seen the TV show and was hoping for an adaptation of the Altman film?

I used to love this show. I stopped watching after they killed off my favourite character though (won’t say who just incase I spoil someone). Genuinely intrigued to see where this goes.

I think the series has run about 7 seasons now and has released countless CD's, bit like Glee, I became more aware of it when people like Laura Benanti and Will Chase were singing on the albums. I did see a couple of very early episodes but there is a yawning vacuum in my mind about them so clearly they made no impression

I love Nashville! There was 6 series altogether and I agree that the later episodes weren’t as good once one of the lead characters left. I’m intrigued to know what kind of story they will go with and which characters will be included. There were loads of great singers in the show.
