Sorry if I missed a thread on this, but this show is going out on a UK tour starring Jason Manford.
Anyone seen a previous production?

One of my favourite musicals, will have to try and see it!

I also saw it on Broadway. It's Kander and Ebb lite and lacks any of the bite or wit of their other shows. It's a nice show but I can't see it setting the box office alight..

Definitely interested in this as well. Bromley and Dartford are listed so far.

I suspect Bromley will be the first venue. It's playing just four shows there from Friday to Sunday (4 -6 October) which is an unusual pattern.
Also Dartford and Bromley are only about 12 miles apart and don't often have the same shows so close together. Curtains has a full week at Dartford 25-30 November with 8 performances.
I enjoyed Jason Manford in The Producers, Chitty Chitty... and the recent RAH Guy & Dolls so I've already booked for the (hopefully) opening night.

Not yet AFAIK. I did a google search before booking Bromley but couldn't find anything.

Website is www.curtainsmusical.com but the site isn't up and running yet. It has a full page advert in the Chita Rivera concert programme at Cadogan Hall that I went to yesterday. Not surprising considering her connections with Kander and Ebb. I saw a version at the Landor pub theatre in Clapham several years ago so I'll definitely be seeing this lovely little show again.

Any intel on the creative team? I love the OBCR and would kill to see this (subject to how well it’s assembled).

I quite like the score - but this will struggle. Good on them for trying - but Manford isn't a big enough draw to overcome the lack of awareness of the show.

I was going to say ..
It's not an exclusive if the info is already out there. There was an official full page advert in a programme the other day. Already out there mate. And it's not even the proper artwork either.

I’ve just booked for this at The Alexandra in Birmingham. There’s a very good opening night offer where tickets are around £20-25 with the ATG Card.
