Thanks for the heads up. Never got to see it in London (only seen the dvd) so I think a trip up north is in the planning.

I thought this vastly overrated when new at NT.

I think the first Act is fantastic and is everything the Jerry Springer Show is about. The 2nd Act is a bit self indulgent and drags on too long.

Yep. It's really goes on a bit but I do like the score
What it says could be done in 1act. I found it a bit boring at the Nash, this launched Hynters reign, says it all really.

I think asking for volunteers for the choir to perform all through the run plus several Sunday rehearsals for nothing in return is a bit much.

Ahh, this brings back fond memories of Sundays at the Vauxhall Tavern, dancing away to the Wayne G remix of "I just wanna dance"

I loved go to the Tavern on a Sunday. Such happy memories Ooh a fellow ex-member of the South London Action Girls Society? Me too, I used to go most Sundays in the late 90's/early 00's. I was obsessed with DJ Andy Almighty's set... looking on the website it seems he still does the occasional Sunday!

Just watched the YT promo clip. That is just a terrible promo video. The fact that somebody thought that would be a good way of promoting the show is shocking and someone needs to give their head a good wobble. Shocking marketing for a theatre show. I have already booked for this prior to the YT clip.

Can't see that helping to sell tickets ;( If anything I think that may even put people off. Heres a guy pissing on a flyer for our show and stamping on it. Theres no context to it. The framing is terrible. There's interlacing issues. It was shot at the wrong frame rate for slow motion. And the shoes don't f***ing fit. This is very bad.

I’m assuming this has been reimagined as being set in the UK. That video, and the opening credit “in a city not unlike Manchester” doesn’t make sense otherwise.

I suppose if you’re hyping it up like this you have to be seen to ”deliver” somehow, maybe the video is part of that.

I'm guessing with Jerry as a cross-dresser this is just gonna be in effect gonna be a drag adaption of the show. Fine if you like that sort of thing, but not my bag.

Is it wrong to say I laughed out loud when watching it? And laughed in a good way. The film is way too long though.
