It's not a musical.

And it's not even a transfer to the West End; it's an intra-West End transfer.

So sad to see Sunny Afternoon close, a very good show.
Surprised the How The other Half Love transferred and more surprised that ATG took it, I did fear that acetylene Feather or Jeeves and Wooster would be heading back there.

How the Other Love is filler as they had nothing between Faustus closing and The Dresser opening.

Get that.
Just thought people would be fighting for over themselves for prime theatre, in the middle of tourist season.

Get that. Just thought people would be fighting for over themselves for prime theatre, in the middle of tourist season. Short notice. Faustus was meant to be a sell out smash hit and extend. Going into the West End with no time to pump out promo and prepare has slaughtered shows before, people don't want to make that mistake again.

Maybe a production of his is transferring but I think it could be the Cinderella cast??

What, at the Pinter?! Far too small a space. And they were scouting shows to fill the Pinter last month and I expect The King and I would be first port of call if it would fit (which it wouldn't).

The King and I needs a big theatre, none of which ATG have available at the moment. It's odd that they extended the bookings of Sunny Afternoon then a month later announced it was closing. I assume cast contracts finish in October plus they've found a show to replace it at the Pinter.

Maybe the show they wanted could only come in at a certain date, so they extended SA so the theatre wasn't dark. Thats what they've done with Guys & Dolls/The Girls

I'd love to see The Crucible transfer I think, got some great British talent in it. Sophie Okonedo is marvellous! I still wish A Raisin in the Sun, with her in it, transferred.

Apologies, I must confess that I've never visited the theatre itself, as none of the shows in recent times have ever appealed, I was unaware of the size. It just seemed that ATG having a free space in the West End would be ideal for an incoming ATG project.
