New London & Drury lane will definitely be free Phoenix is very likely to be free (Guys and Dolls as good as it is, isn't selling) Noel coward has yet to announce a new tenant so could very well house a musical in the new year. Gielgud (how's curious incident doing?)
Aldwych/Novello/Piccadilly depending on how Beautiful, Jersey Boys and Mamma Mia are doing

Gielgud (how's curious incident doing?) Aldwych/Novello/Piccadilly depending on how Beautiful, Jersey Boys and Mamma Mia are doing Yes all those theatres will be free. Don't think G&D will extend again, it's only supposed to be limited and by October it'll have done 10 months. I've got a strong feeling The Girls might go there but that could go somewhere smaller. Noel Coward - think a regional play will go here like long day's journey? Drury Lane - would LOVE Mary Poppins to come here! Can see it doing a nice limited season. Would be lovely to have it back in London again. I don't think Finding Neverland would do very well here. New London - Finding Neverland maybe? In regards to Gieguld, Novello, Aldwych and Picadilly. Think all the shows are doing okay there. Would defiantly not surprise me if Beautiful closes next year, think it could. Maybe FN could go there? Or another musical (Color Purple?!). I think that ATG could love Jersey Boys from the Picadilly to another smaller theatre like the Playhouse (the set isn't that big!) to get a new musical in there? Mamma Mia is doing fine as per usual and not sure about Curious.

The Playhouse would not be suitable for JB at all. I think it would be more likely to move to the Phoenix or close altogether. School of Rock brought forward. Expect it this year! Wonder if this might go to the New London?

Wonder if this might go to the New London? Unless I'm mistaken, School of Rock is going to the palladium? The palladium hasn't had a long running musical for agesss now!

School of Rock brought forward. Expect it this year! It surely must've found a new home then, with Cinderella confirmed for the Palladium over Christmas, I can't see it being a limited run.

It was said a while ago that it was no longer looking at the palladium. They maybe making the rather wise decision to not go somewhere so large.
Adelphi wouldn't be a surprise. New London maybe too small, not sure

School of Rock brought forward. Expect it this year! Where did you hear that? I really can't imagine it opening this year, especially as the auditions website says rehearsals start March 2017. If it doesn't go to the Palladium (which I guess is more likely as of course it is HUGE to fill) then I have no idea what else could go there, unless it carries on with TV, concerts, variety and panto for the foreseeable future.

I've noticed that Sunny Afternoon hasn't extended its booking period beyond June 25th. I wonder if it might be closing at the Harold Pinter since it's going on tour in August,

The New London has just announced that Show Boat is closing on August 27th, could a transfer open there?

And now the Wyndham's Theatre will be free due to Lady Day being postponed, so another space for a filler!

Talk about a crazy season coming up... by September New London, Wyndhams and the Noel Coward will all be free! Always all happens at once, doesn't it! Though it's not unheard of (Sunday, Avenue Q, Dreamboats...), musicals at the Wyndham's are few and far between, so I would expect a play to go in, unless PPT extends (though how's that been selling??-

Totally "left field," but I wonder if, if the National's "Threepenny Opera" were a massive hit, that could slot into the New London after the Olivier. Not starting any rumour, just thinking laterally. I'd love that, as I won't get a chance to see it at the National. Perhaps Groundhog Day will transfer into the West End if it's a hit at the Old Vic and there may be something coming in from Chichester too, Half a Sixpence maybe? I just don't get why Hamilton takes the New London, they're perfect for each other As for School of Rock, I think it would need a bigger theatre, even if it's not the Palladium. THEY could go into the Victoria Palace. The Wyndham rarely does musicals anyway and as much as I love musicals, I don't want to see another playhouse used for musicals.

Didn't Lisa Maxwell say somewhere in an interview that End of the Rainbow would be coming "...into town" at some point?

So many shows closing! By Jan there will be lots of theatres available. I wonder what will go to the New London, very interesting. Still think girls will go to Phoenix, hope it does well there. It wouldn't surprise me if PPT extends at the Wynham's until No Mans Land comes in. Still hoping Mary Poppins replaces Charlie and I think, for the future, that The Color Purple would be perfect for the Noel Coward!!

Really End of Rainbow coming in? Not saying it wont happen, I just be surprised.
When it played the West End originally it only played the small Trafalgar Studio and that was with the mighty Tracie Bennett.
Could Ma Rainey Black Bottoms also come in from the National?
I would guess that good theatre management should have another show in the "wings", in case of an eventuality, such as this, or a show forced to close early.

Grey Gardens would be stunning in the New London, but unlikely.
