Just announced as their new show. Know little about the original but I'm very excited for a new Bourne production.

I have always wanted to see a Matthew Borne production live, as from what I have seen I love his work! This may well be my first production of his!

Very exciting!
Has he not got a summer show at sadlers this year? I usually book them both at the same time to save 20%

I think there were rumours of the red shoes on the old message board as when it was on tv I watched it wondering how Matthew Bournes version would be done!

The only chance of another show would be ReBourne but I don't think there will be another ReBourne show till next year, however I'm happy to be proved wrong.

Tour dates so far are listed here new-adventures.net/the-red-shoes/tour-dates , if any of you haven't seen already. I think I'll definitely be booking for this. I don't know anything about the story but I've loved Matthew Bourne's shows that I've seen so far.

Never been a fan of dance, but loved Matthew Bourne's THE CAR MAN when I saw it on Sky Arts (whether that's to do with the operatic source material though!) I also really like the film THE RED SHOES, so I may give this a go.

That's a shame we can't get our summer fix of Bourne this year!

yes the Broadway musical is notorious - a ballet about ballet should fare better. I assume Lez B is designing, and if so, it will be gorgeous and textural, and lavish, flowing seamlessly from scene to scene. There will be some man on man action, a lot of sultry ladies, and some camp, lengthy parody of a sacred cow of dance. can't wait.
