Polly

Has anyone here been involved with a production of Polly, the sequel to The Beggar's Opera. Are there as many joyous tunes and seedy character's. Sequels to musicals and operas do they ever work. Likewise, how about Divorce me darling and the Boyfriend? I've put this here as perhaps beggar's Opera is an opera, though it probably is closer to a musical except with some tunes written by handel and the likes.
