I liked Baga's Maggie, it wasn't the best impression but she came out with some funny lines. The Vivienne absolutely won that Snatch Game, I'm slightly disappointed that we didn't get to see Cilla or Kim from her, I think she probably would have smashed it with any of these too. I'm not sure how Baga got a joint win with a lacklustre runway look, The Vivienne's wasn't the greatest (I'd say Blu's and Divina's were a lot better) but it at least filled the brief. The right eventual bottom two and leaver I felt.

Baga must be so much better than she comes over through the screen. That was a ridiculously bad Maggie for Snatch Game. And someone needs to take The Vivienne down several pegs. Confidence is one thing - but it is tipped over into arrogance for me now. UK queens need to up their game - they really do. Totally agree. I don’t understand why Baga keeps getting the love from the judges, and I’m surprised more wasn’t made of the fact that two of them wanted to do Maggie... and it felt like the other (I’m so bad with names) was basically pushed out. The Vivienne is basically full on arrogance at this point - they aren't even hiding it (that whole ‘you should listen to me’ part) and it makes them come across as quite a horrid person imo. It is such a shame they appear to be one of the best at the actual competition, when for me, I was totally team Sum Ting Wong because there was a lot of heart there (if not perhaps much effort!) Elimination day should be live and public vote, but I get why it’s not. Overall I’m enjoying this - I never bothered with the US version.

This was the best episode so far IMO. A great challenge that saw some rise to the top and others fail big time and its interesting to see the dynamics change within the final six queens.
For me Davina should have won on her own, but i can see how they all deserved it as they really did work as a team.
There were some fake tears on the runway and definitely the right pair in the bottom 2.
It wasn't a great lipsynch, but in the end, the more focused performer got to stay. Which is a shame because i was willing for her to go.

Classic tactic of putting a favourite into the bottom 2 so that we can see the redemption story and win for Vivienne.

Best episode of UK Drag Race so far!
We got to see a different side to Bagga, who I think it was great to have some time away from The Vivienne, who I think had a thump back down to earth with her dropping the ball! If Cheryl's runway was better I think she would have been in line to win, but unfortunately it just wasn't drag enough for me!
Best team won, and agree with the bottom 2, though I'm sad her go, I believe she did manage to show so much!

To be fair to The Vivienne and Cheryl, they both dressed appropriately for A Day at the Races!
I am surprised that Davina hasn't been picked up on not wearing many dresses... a good number of her runway looks have been trouser suits or similar.

Excellent episode! Although I prefer The Vivienne, I do think she was the weaker performer in the lip-sync and thought she might end up being eliminated. They can't be judging who sashays away on the lip-sync alone.

This was a fantastic episode in one of the best seasons of Drag Race ever. Maybe the best since at least All Stars 2. Everything's so well-structured, well-edited and well-paced.

Drag Race UK had a rocky start, but has really come on leaps and bounds! By far one of the best series of Drag Race we have had in quite a while!

An interesting week and I agree with whoever said that The Vivienne in the bottle two is a knocking down a peg or two/a redemption arc. I can’t help thinking Cheryl’s runway was weaker than Crystal’s but there was no way Cheryl was going home give who’s the guest judge next week.Crystal was absolutely terrible in that song. I feel like Cheryl and The Vivienne both showed their individualistic natures by hoping they’d win by being the best, not by being a good group.
My prediction is that Cheryl goes next week. She has been getting an odd edit (that cut to her at the end of the getting ready bit, where Divina talked about Clause 28 and I sobbed my heart out was so odd. Did anyone else clock it? She says ‘that was a good chat’ but she had contributed nothing to it. Then in the untucked bit when everyone else was emotional and she was burbling on about girl bands. Read the room Cheryl! I predict an onstage meltdown when she meets her idol, a chance for Cheryl Cole to talk about how important it is to be human and yourself (ironic, given the rumours) and then a defeat in the lipsynch.
Watch me be wrong!
Am tempted to go and see Baga Chipz in Cinderella at Trafalgar Studios based on this. She makes me laugh so much and she is turning it out. I was expecting a hot mess. She is very talented and I see a big career being launched (relaunched?) as we watch.

The Bagga Chipz you see on Drag Race is nothing like the Bagga I've seen live. Yes she can be funny, but she's as rough as they come.
It looks like she will be in the final, maybe even win and i wonder if that will encourge her to smarten up her stage act.

I've seen her a number of times, but only very late at night at Porn Idol at G-A-Y not at one of her stand alone shows. She is usually so drunk she can barely speak, or stand or move, though it is on at 1-2am. Thankfully she is only there to add nasty comments to people stripping. She seems to have lost it a bit now Mary Mac is gone, as they used to play off each other really well. She is funny though and quite sweet the few times I have spoken to her. But yeah...mess! That'll all obviously have to change if she wins this thing and becomes a part of the franchise. Though some of the Rupaul girls are an absolute mess, so maybe she'll just fit right in...

Kind of disappointed by today's episode after last week. It was a bit of a mess and the Divina and Vivienne drama was very repetitive and totally unnecessary. The whole episode seemed to setting up a storyline of Divina getting over her need for validation but it was never realised and she still seemed bothered by it in the untucked section and I found it irritating which is disappointing since she's probably my favourite. Also Baga is really skating by on very little and it's a bit annoying. Her looks have been pretty bad (didn't mind last week's but that's about the only decent one) and I don't think she's as funny as they claim - very repetitive.

Well I was not right about Cheryl. She’s out next week, surely? Bit sad about tonight’s result, I think.

I thought Blu's make up was fantastic on the runway.
Vivien's VT's are annoying. She's too full of her self and telling Cheryl to not do Essex was sabotage, especially since she then went on to be a scouse housewife, which is basically playing herself.
Final 2 will be Bagga, Davina and Vivien. I would like Davina to win the crown

I’ve never watched the US version but I am enjoying this so will probably go check them out. My biggest frustration though is the inconsistency with the judging. The critique is all over the place, as is the choice on who gets to live another episode. Especially Michelle - I only know her from Big Brother, but she’s always negative, comes across as a know it all and in this latest episode, a total cow because Cheryl dares disagree with her: god forbid someone else has another point of view!
Can’t stand The Vivienne (an excess of faux confidence masking a lot of insecurity) or Baga (who frankly only seems to be surviving because their drag is quintessentially traditional British drag). I hope Davina wins, though I don’t necessarily like her either - Cheryl Hole would be my winner at this point, but she doesn’t stand a chance does she?

Yeah, not a chance. You might like to start at season five, it’s a classic season, and you’ll meet Alyssa Edwards. You’ll then see when Cheryl has taken about 78% of her moves and mannerisms from. One thing I’ve thinking about is how much more open the UK show is about gay sex. The US is so puritanical, RPDR has always been very sanitised, which I accepted, but seeing the UK show highlights that. The idea that Brooklyn and Vanessa was the first ‘relationship’ and shown with a couple of chaste kisses. Compare that to all the comments about Cheryl’s battered hole (and even the kiss at the end of Bake Off!)

I was sad to see Blu go, and although I think she was better than Cheryl in the different rounds, Cheryl was far better in the lip-synch. But then she's had plenty of practice with that song, no doubt!
Very impressed however that Blu got this far given her relative lack of experience. She definitely made a big impression.
I couldn't bear it when Baga seemed to give up during the untucked segment. Hopefully the narrow escape will put a fire up her arse for next week! I think it'll be between The Vivienne and Divina. Hoping for Divina to win, but I suspect The Vivienne will get the crown. Her runway lok last night was spot on.
A little theatre link last night too - one of the Brit Crew was Nico Wirachman, who was in recently in the ensemble for Aladdin and will soon be in the same for Prince of Egypt. I never saw Aladdin, but I'm a huge fan of Nico's instagram page...!

I am so sick of Vivienne. She does look great, I cant deny that. But her attitude has stunk since the beginning. I dont know if its the scouse accent or what? But I just dont get a nice vibe off of her. And I have heard clips of her singing live aaaand OUCH. She had alot of help from technology in the singing challenge.

And, although I don’t want to be ‘that’ person, and whilst I’m very happy to watch the Brit Crew showing the outline of their genitals in the flimsiest of underwear, I feel compelled to ask why is that ok on the bbc? If they were women it would most certainly not be allowed.
I know RPDR as a program doesn’t work without this element of sexual content/objectification which is why I expressed some concern about whether it would work at the top of the thread.
The double standards are off the scale though.

I don't like Alyssa Edwards at all and yet I like Cheryl, I know a lot of people are comparing them, but I don't get it. Alyssa is fake AF, I don't find Cheryl like that at all. She doesn't deserve to win, nor does she have a hope of doing it, but she is good entertainment (as was Alyssa, but only because of her feud with Coco and others) and seems like a genuinely nice person. Alyssa while very professional in her role is like a psychiatrists dream, she's insane!
