Could be - although 17 July initially showed as sold out and has now disappeared. I’ll keep my fingers crossed I don’t have to revert to a Plan B for that day!

Its complete bull.
60,000 at Wembley Stadium. No Problem.
2300 at London Palladium. Far too risky.
I know the show has been delayed because of cast isolation, but it just blows my mind we cant fully open.
And yes, i did just buy a ticket for that August matinee, in case it is her first performance.

It’s utterly depressing that theatre and live entertainment have been deemed the least important industry in the country. Even though way more people visit the theatre than football matches each year.

Based on last year though the Covid impact definitely has theatres out in front.

I think they’re just sorting the seating out. Wish they’d bloomin hurry up! I need to know if I need to buy a train ticket or not for the 17th! I was only gonna go down to London for Joseph so if I’m not going I’ll hang about in Stoke instead. I’m absolutely over all this COVID nonsense now. It’s time we got back to life once all adults offered the vaccine.

I guess sport is considered less risky due to it being outdoors largely. Nightclubs are the most neglected area as they have remained closed throughout whilst theatres have reopened, albeit in limited formats. Hopefully we are on the final stretches of restrictions now, though attendances will take years to recover due to tourism or lack of it in London and other major cities. Working from home will also affect attendance in cities as the whole hospitality/ high street economy is going to need a rethink due to something none of us could have foreseen. Also are we going to see coaches of people going to the theatre on day trips in the near future? I was in Birmingham one day this week and it was like a ghost town, our 2nd City! Lets hope for a bumper summer which at least will help some businesses get some much needed money back into their depleted coffers!

Where is everyone logging in to see their tickets? I’m booked on the 4th August which was a move from our booking last summer. All I have is an email with the new booking date and seats on…. Is there somewhere else to look? I booked direct with the London Palladium and the email is from them.

If you have a LW Theatre account you can log on there and look at your account which will show your bookings.

Live events/experience will always draw in a crowd and the fact people are actively going out again suggests that people want social interaction and not be stuck on home on Zoom or watching streaming services 24/7.

Has anyone heard anything about their tickets yet? Nothing yet. We’ve not even been notified that our Thursday opening night performance won’t be happening. Not everyone checks social media and will know.

Not everyone checks social media and will know. Did you not even get an e mail to say not opening until 12th July? I've just checked the date of mine and it was 22nd June so maybe check your junk mail for around that time. I've not had anything since about Thursdays performance. I am guessing they will just refund or credit note so we can rebook. I'm more concerned about my 17th July booking to see if I will be moved or cancelled.

Treating customers like this. Have several bookings with them too. Want a refund for the 1&3rd. Not being fobbed off with a credit note either for these shows. Yeh need to know about the 17th too but as usual I’m Sure I won’t know till days before again… 👎🤬🤬

I will ask for refund for Thursday as I don't really want to rebook. Only reason I was going twice is because original booking was moved from last year and then when it was announced Linzi would be doing some performances I booked again. If its only credit note I will probably use it for Back To The Future as I quite fancy seeing it.

Have a bit of compassion for the box office staff who I'm sure are having a pretty miserable time at the minute trying to get it all sorted.

Especially as LWTheatres are trying to sort Cinderella and Joseph! The systems simply weren’t designed for a pandemic and rules changing. I hope I hear soon about my tickets for 17/07 (and what is happening with my earlier booking) but i fully understand it is a huge job!

The only thing I'd say about that, is people often have to book trains in advance, hotels, book time off work, arrange babysitters or a multitude of other variables. When the communication is poor, it can add a lot of stress to what should be a fairly straightforward transaction. I appreciate everyone is doing their best "on the ground" but I'm not sure I'd use the term entitled to expect a certain level of service, when an individual is spending hundreds of pounds on a luxury experience.

The communication hasn't been poor - emails have been sent asking people to be patient while they sort out reallocation. There are a lot of tickets to cancel and move, it was never going to be a quick job. Using terms like "disgusting" and saying "want a refund" like a small child when no-one had ever said refunds won't be possible is entitled, impatient and rude. There is no call for that at present, all that is required is a basic bit of courtesy and patience.
