I'd be happy with that.
It would be hilarious and lots of fun!

If we’d been told before the last run that it had been reimagined as a light musical comedy we could have at least gone in with that expectation.

Personally I don't think we will get as big a "name" this year. Have a feeling I will be a bit disappointed. Last year they announced Sheridan before Jac and Jason but this year its the other way around which makes me feel they either don't have anyone yet or its not going to be a name that will have people rushing to buy tickets months in advance which is what happened last year. Hope I am proved wrong.

I think Lisa McGrillis or Kerry Howard would absolutely nail the comedy aspect, but I don't know if either of them sing. But I'm assuming they want an all-singing all-dancing household name and there really isn't anyone I can think of who would fill that description, which is sad.
Maybe ALW will just stick a Strallen in Hollyoaks for six months again... 🤷🏻♂️

Sorry, didn't want to read back 144 pages and couldn't really remember: was Joseph available at TKTS at any point last year? How much? Will it (also) end up there at this year's run? Thanks

Thanks Don't think it will be on TKTS if it sells like last time. They ended up not doing day seats because it was sold out at full price.

You could go to Wimbledon this week, they'd probably take anything you offered them as it hasn't sold at all lol

I'm there now. It's still very empty even with several school parties in the circle. I did hold out booking till yesterday in the hope of a theatre card or seat filling deal but no luck but £29.50 for row B central stalls isn't too bad. Joseph was the show that introduced me to musical theatre and will always be a favourite so with a new lead I had to come to Wimbledon.

Any further narrator rumours?? Someone who shares my optimism :-) None that I have heard sadly.... I still say Kerry Ellis would slay it! (Or if they insist on taking the comedy route again then Geraldine McQueen)

Theatre has been around for thousands of years, it’s going to take more than coronavirus to stop it! It will change theatre as we know it and the weak producers & production companies won’t survive but I think ALW could survive any apocalypse...! Yes she definitely would. I wouldn’t be surprised if they got a pop star in this time.

I would expect they will do it next Summer as there will be zero chance this summer being realistic.

STILL on sale for this July.... Not quite sure what's going on here. Dare I hope?! Absolutely disgusted by this. The longer This goes on without there being an announcement the angrier I’m getting. They should of announced something by now as it’s obv not gonna go ahead. As for still selling tkts don’t get me started.. Thieving gits....

I’ve now heard on the grapevine that this is indeed moving dates and that existing tickets will be moved over to the new dates when they are confirmed.

I’ve now heard on the grapevine that this is indeed moving dates and that existing tickets will be moved over to the new dates when they are confirmed. Well as long as I keep my first preview aisle seat then I dont mind. It's clearly not going to happen as planned as I follow Jac Yarrow on Instagram and he is most definately stuck at home so the cast haven't been rehearsing. But they have been very slow in any announcement at all.

Personally I say forget the limited run, and launch for an open ended stint ASAP - which I suppose would be February on current guesses?
It's exactly the show we need post lockdown and am sure would sell brilliantly for at least a year :-)
In fact even though usually I hate stunt casting, would even be a good show for the Chicago treatment of different 'stars' in different roles every 3 months or so.... So long as they can SING!

I hope they do move bookings as I have my bargain £10 upper circle side tickets. I much preferred Sister Act moving my booking to Sunday in the Park with George not.
