Shanay Holmes was superb at Kilworth House and has my vote for Narrator next year.
Or to make it a bit edgier and if the comedy is essential Julian Clary.

If she wasn’t going into Les Mis I’d say it would be a great career move for Carrie Hope Fletcher. She sort of reminds me of Linzi Hateley in some respects. Anyone else on here a fan of the Canadian Cast Recording with Donny? Janet Metz is my all time favourite narrator. Could listen to her sing Pharaoh’s Story on repeat (despite the occasional ‘Sierra Boggess’ style of weird pronunciation).

Keith Jack played the Narrator on the tour before he took over Joseph so if its a male, it has been done. Maybe they will get Paul Zerdin and one of the puppets can be the Narrator.

The Narrator in Joseph was (initially) a male role from its inception - only in recent years has it become a female role (it's partly why there's such ridiculous belt intervals - written for a male tenor rather than a woman!).

Slight *yawn* from me am afraid. Did enjoy both (in different ways) but was really hoping for someone new.
This show lives via the Narrator though - so that will be the key announcement.

Good job I’d booked first and last per performance as soon as they were released 🙂
It’ll be interesting to see who they cast as narrator. I can’t be the only one hoping it’ll be Linzi Hately, but I suspect they will go with someone that the general public know well.

This’ll be even harder to get tickets for then, but the script is the script. The guy can sing at least.
