32 hours to hear if you have won the lottery or you have waited 32 hours at the stage door?!

As it is a limited run I think Jason and Sheridan will be discouraged to stage door as much as possible so they don't pick up any bugs and miss shows. This certainly was case at the Funny Girl Tour. It's a case of protect their huge investment/s or disappoint a few people after the show. Sad but I can completely understand it. Oh really? I would've thought because its a limited run, they'd want to stage door as much as possible to make the most of their time there. Not everyone gets to play the Palladium after all. I remember Kelli O'Hara stage dooring most nights during her time there last year along with Ken Watanabe for King and I Do the general public know who they are though? I suspect not. If Jason or Sheridan were to catch something from someone at stage door and miss shows there would probably be a riot!

For those who have seen both Jac and Michael as Joseph...how do they compare? I’ve seen both and i thought Michael was the stronger singer and actor. Jac was good, but i preferred Michael.

Can well believe this and am sorry I missed him. I know I've said it before but he was a sensational leading man in Starlight Bochum - one of the best!

He's in Jail, they start singing Go Go Go Joseph and suddenly he has his supposed ripped up coat back and dancing with the ensemble in galaxy print clothes. What's going on?? I got the impression it was a kind of dream sequence??

I hope he’ll get to go on more until the run finishes. And I totally agree with you regarding Starlight. He was one of my favourite Rustys of all the ones I’ve ever seen - and I’ve seen a few.

Quite a different quality to other Rustys I thought. Plus the leads aren't always the strongest skaters.... Be good to see him landing a lead role in London!

I know it's unfair to judge not seeing the current production, but that clip saddened me that such a stellar production/direction has been scrapped.

He was such a GREAT skater! And he didn’t even get to show off his skills as Rusty on that end. Just thought he had a slightly different approach to the character and played so much more with acting wise. I could just rave about it forever. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for him. He’s understudied and alternated some great parts so I hope a lead role in the West End is in store for him in the future (not sure All The Fun At The Fair counts as I don’t know the show tbh).

The 2007 production used the 60's version from the original 1991 production. The current production is just odd...and why bring his coat back for it??

I was referring to the way it’s done in the new production - it has a sort of Dream sequence vibe with the coat and the dancers etc.

Just saw this tonight. Jac Yarrow is one fine Joseph, I actually can't think of a bad Joseph. Saw Jaymi Hensley on tour and his vocals were divine! Must agree that this really was The Sheridan Smith show with all the winking, face-making and goofiness yet it never became annoying albeit at times, mildly distracting. The costumes I thought looked a lot better in person than they do in photos, in particular the coat of many colours. The amount of middle-aged women screaming when Jason Donavon came on was pretty amusing and the whole palladium had a fantastic vibe overall this evening, fully cheering the cast on. Not sure if anyone also noticed but the conductor was also having a whale of a time down tonight.

I was in the stalls front row a few weeks ago and have never seen such an animated conductor. He also seemed to be silently singing every word and chatted to us when the second half started late for technical reasons. Top guy !

Love it when the conductor and band get the recognition they deserve. They literally could not be more integral to the success of a musical.

^Yet more technical problems??? What is going on? Did they need a new crane fitting to lift Smith’s ego?

The conductor we saw numerous times at 42nd Street was always very animated as he rose gracefully on his podium and then descended...always had a look over his shoulder with a knowing grin..great fun!
