And what a great evening - and I feel stupid asking, but those waistcoats? well done for getting the theatre totally dark too. So slick, and such gorgeously eccentric dancing. Loved it. They're very thin fabric and are actually stuffed behind the pants, right behind the waistband. In the dark the elders just pull them up and over their necks. Elder Price's vest is in a bag behind the couch, and his uses velcro. Most Prices I've seen put their hand on the bag during the first blackout. Some have a little less success than others and have to try to velcro them on during the dance break.

I saw it on Friday, after a horrendous journey over the Pennines due to all trains from Sheffield to Manchester being cancelled. We arrived 30 minutes before the start, no lunch except a Greggs sausage roll and then nearly had heart failure paying £9.75 for a large glass of wine (but we needed it). The show was fantastic. My sides ached with laughing and as everyone else has said, Elder Cunningham's comedic timing, not to mention superb singing and dancing made him the absolute star of the show. Thanks for the info on the costume change by the way. Very clever.

Just arrived in Cologne and there are posters about for The Book is Mormon being here in November. I presume it’s the UK/European tour. So everyone holding out for their preferred UK city to be announced should note that the tour isn’t really spending all that much time in the UK at all.

The cast has been referring to it as the UK/international tour.

Anyone have any idea about what happened at 12th Aug performance? Apparently the Elder Cunningham standby (Jacob Yarlett) had to take over after the interval and has been the lead in at least some of the performances since, if not all of them. Cant seem to find out what happened to Conner Peirson and whether he’s coming back.
I have tix for the final Mcr (my 4th) show so just trying to research what to expect. (Additionally im a bit concerned that theres still more than half the seats left for that night. Am hoping for it to go out with a bang to a packed house)

I'm seeing this next Saturday in Sunderland.
Just a head's up for anyone wanting to see it there, I've just checked the ATG website and some selected single seats in the stalls have been dropped down to £25 from what I think was £70.
I paid £13 for the rear stalls which should be fine as I don't think I'll miss much besides the top of the stage.

Just bagged a single in the stalls for £13 for tonight’s last performance in Mcr. Third visit for me. After being wary initially, I’ve fallen in love with this show!

Does anyone know if they're doing the lottery for this in Sunderland?

Lottery details for Sunderland. Interestingly I got front row seats for £17.50 in advance for next weeks Friday matinee.

Thanks! I prefer the in person ones as the odds are better, but I'm also really lazy so this works for me.

I went to the matinee in Sunderland today and I absolutely loved it! The show is in great shape and the audience lapped it up. No deal Brexit killed me off. Jacob was on for Cunningham and he was fantastic, everyone else was the usual lead cast and they were all great. Good news theatregod - several of the cast mentioned to me at stage door that they will be coming to Aberdeen next year.

Looks like next year this tour will be mainly in the UK. With the above post about Aberdeen ... I’ve also heard the show will be going to Liverpool and judging by cast members Instagram accounts Birmingham will be another stop!
Looks like Kevin Clay won’t be with the tour after the European stops, he all but confirmed this at Manchester stage door one night that he ‘doesn’t know’ if he will be in Bristol and was on the tour until January. Not sure about Conner Pierson as it seems most cast said they were with the tour for a year!

I went to the matinee today in Sunderland thanks to the £13 ticket offer. Was meant to be in upper circle but all in there were upgraded. Ended up in row a of the dress circle. An amazing view for the price.
Upper circle and gallery closed. Grand not too bad probably due to moving people down two layers. Stalls looked about half full.
Friday matinées don't seem to be working well here. A shame as tickets are cheap and the cast were a joy to watch.

Was at the final show in Sunderland last night. Amazing. Standing O well deserved. Once of the cast members was in tears, don’t know her name. Second from right in the bows.

Announced for Newcastle. No dates yet but can see it doing longer than Sunderland as the theatre is much smaller and they have a very loyal audience.

Heres the tour dates up to now: Amsterdam: 26 Sep-27 Oct Cologne: 7-17 Nov Aarhus: 20-30 Nov Zurich: 10-22 Dec Bristol: 15 Jan-1 Feb (possibility to add 3 weeks, next show starts 25/2)
Must be more dates to come before Newcastle as the Theatre Royal is solidly booked until July 2020. I know Aberdeen has been rumoured and there is a 3 week "gap" there in both April/May.

Is Cardiff on the list If it is, you can bet it won’t be announced until the Bristol run has concluded. Just as has happened with Sunderland and Newcastle - why split the market?

Newcastle is in September 2020 ... This must mean the tour will run for longer than 1 year and will have a cast change at some point.
