Can anyone tell me if any alternates are performing tonight (Monday) please. I thought I read somewhere that Red doesn’t do Mondays but I hope I’m mistaken!! generally, Mondays are indeed Red's scheduled night off.

Has anyone sat in the Royal circle at the mayflower? I have left it late booking miss saigon and all that is left for the date I can do is 3rd row of the circle. Anyone know what the view from front circle is like? What row of the stalls does it overhang?

Row N of the stalls I think. The Mayflower is vast and you quite far back in the circle, although the view is fine.

Wish I would learn my lesson and book further in advance:( The view from either should be fine, its even clear (but distant) in the balcony. My preference would be for row M of stalls over the circle but it depends what kind of view you like (my first choice is around Stalls row L central if I have a choice)

I quite like the front circle at the Mayflower, don't recall it being that far back and you get a clear overview of the stage, but the stalls are fine as well.

Monday night’s performance was sensational and we had a couple of understudies and an alternate. Red in fact was on as The Engineer, Joreen was an incredible Kim, and Alistair So was surprisingly good as understudy to Thuy. Emily Beth Harrington sung her heart out as Ellen. Absolutely loved the show after so long and it was a perfect show to be sat near the front as you could see every bit of character and emotion from each and every performer.

I’m in tonight and am incredibly excited - Miss Saigon is my favourite musical of all time and I haven’t seen the show since London 2015 so I can’t wait to see this cast! My first thought is that I’m missing the lush ‘curtain’ that they had at the London production, in which all the pieces separated and flew off in separate directions - for me, it was a tiny thing but I absolutely loved it! Not possible for a touring show of course, and it won’t change the show in any way but isn’t it funny what you notice and what you miss?!

Sadly I have no idea about other covers chances are you probably wont find out until one of them posts during a show or you go to the show. They aren't allowed to reveal cover days (the Cam Mac prodcutions apparently written in their contracts - esp Les Mis which he decided to enforce a couple of years ago - annoying everyone 😠😠)

I haven't seen les mis since it was implemented. It's a shame though, I used to really enjoy arranging theatre trips to see particular people, especially with Miss Saigon.

I have been so many times and mostly in case someone is off for a cover. I was lucky I saw Vinny cover pretty cover everything last year at Mis.

Sounds like I should get Vinny over. I could find him plenty of roles to cover- Mrs Bridges, Amy Turtle, Sophie Webster, Mrs Overall, Tom Branson... And Scudder.

Have there been any ticket offers on any of the previous stops? Just looking at the (rather pricey) tickets for Manchester and there's swathes of seats left on some nights.

I see that pictures of the 'new uk tour cast' have been tweeted by the Miss Saigon twitter account (average age looks about 14!!) Have any of the leads changed?

Just looked at Manchester tickets for next week and there's still loads left. Looks like all the stalls and circle seats are available for £20 with the ATG card. Pleased i held off booking as have nabbed what should have been two £60 seats.

Yeah i was waiting for a mailout too but haven't had one for months. I just checked by chance as I noticed they'd previously reduced this week's seats.

I just checked by chance as I noticed they'd previously reduced this week's seats. Good work. I've had them in abundance over the last week or so for all sorts (Strictly Ballroom, Chicago, Hairspray, Elvis, Beautiful, etc ). Had my hopes up every-time I saw an 'ATG...' alert. This £20 offer seems to be for the first week of April only, currently.
