Going to the matinee. I'm hopeful that all three levels will be open, having never been and that be case before.

Couple if muck ups: Ruth brings a pumpkin as decoration in first WI scene. All the passers by return and join in during 'who wants a silent night'

A pumpkin instead of what? (Who plays Ruth?) Debbie Chazen's character. I don't think they normally have anything, it's just a 'Thank you to Ruth for decorating the hall'. This time she appeared with a pumpkin. Tad random but the cast were in high spirits all round.

Of all the visits, today the Grand Circle was open. Yes there were some empty seats but not in the quantities there have been before, so good to see the show won't be limping out half empty today. Probably also the most responsive audience too. Instant standing ovation. All the cast were loving, especially Claire Machin who was giving it her all. I've always enjoyed Chloe May Jackson's performance too, but she was really going full out on the comedy in her scenes with Ben Hunter too. I think I've come to the decision I prefer Jenny Gayner's Annie, to Joanna Riding's too. Not sure what it is, but I think it's the emotion Jenny brings to the character, especially at the end of Kilimanjaro when she is overpowered by the orchestra - almost like being swallowed up with emotion. Would be a great casting for tour lead if they don't scoop up all the current ladies. In some ways I'm glad not to be at the last performance.

All the passers by return and join in during 'who wants a silent night' These are not muck ups, both of these happen every show. She always has a pumpkin as the decoration and the passers by always return to join in 'Silent Night'! Thats the whole point of the song.... Cora changes the words to make the passers by come back and donate to them!

Last show tonight was excellent. Very receptive audience and the cast were giving it their all. Sad to see it go

The Take That fangirls will be raging, but Gary is away on holiday after the TT tour.

Sat in stalls G2 tonight if anyone wants to say hello. Very much looking forward to the final performance I was in G5! Sorry to have missed you. The audience reaction was electric last night, and Jenny was very good as Annie but Joanna is still on top for me. The final bows were a very emotional affair, and as the cast were collecting for bloodwise in the foyer for the last time they were greeted with huge numbers of supporters. I think the saddest thing is seeing how wonderfully close this group of professionals all are with each other, knowing that it was their last performance together. There wasn't a hint of Gary, but luckily the theatre was full of supporters of the Girls itself, and not of the Take That member.

Nope, even the cast don't know. I'm wondering if they will wait and release it for the tour and sell it at the venues.

The publicity has been handled very poorly. No CD, very little merchandise, Gary singing on most of the promotional appearances.

Must say the merchandise is terrible/strange. I had the programme but wanted to have a look at the sign just to see what else they had. The standard mug, but also aprons and oven gloves which seem a bit odd. Of course the target audience was the WI ladies, but at the same time the show was trying to say the WI is more than tea and cakes and there is more to the woman than being domesticated.

Most show merchandise is pretty woeful I think. There is very little originality or thought that goes into it.

I hope it's not a long wait, probably will be, because I'm more interested in hearing the cast recording. Would like to see the tour, but that will more be down to casting than anything.
