Who's seen this already?

I went last night and it's not that scary. They spoilt the biggest scare in the trailer actually (why?).

And a group of annoying attention wh0res behind us ruined it for me. They screamed at the beginning of the movie, everyone laughed, and since they thought they were so funny they just kept on screaming at every single thing.

I went last night too. Absolutely dreadful. So corny. Even the jump scares were low quality. I felt cheap and tawdry for reacting to them. Rubbish 😑

I'm an unrepentant stan of the Conjuring franchise so I got plenty to enjoy out of this one, but yeah, objectively it is not a very good film. At all. You could *almost* make sense of the plotholes by the end by writing off the biggest nonsense as "well of course, because they were ghosts", but that is quite a big leap of faith that I'm not sure the audience should have to be making.
