The Take That song was very well received by the audience in Manchester (as Take That are from Manchester). I am not sure of the setlist. But it was different from previous shows (I think).
Pop songs included `I want you back` by Take That. Time After Time (by Cindi Lauper) and Here You Come Again (First recorded by Dolly Parton). Imagine (by John Lennon). Photograph (written by Ed Sheeran). There was a tribute to Stephen Sondheim. And nice selection of songs from other musicals. Including How Far I'll Go from Moana the movie. And a Hamilton song which was really good, but I am not sure which one it was now.
Her brother Gerard Salonga was the musical director which was a surprise plus. The audience sang along at the right places when Lea said a particular song was a singalong.
I also would be interested in a full setlist, if anyone can take a pen and paper into the show and note them down for us.
Brilliant, well produced show, and everyone was on their feet and dancing at the end.

Please God let that have been recorded, legally or otherwise.

The somewhat odd choice of material in part - and the condensing of her "hits" into a rather messy medley - aside, I thought she was stunning at the Royal Albert Hall. I'm not sure I've ever heard 'Somehwere' sound better, the 'Move On'/'Not While I'm Around' was superb and, as someone else commented, 'Bring Him Home' was beautiful.
Her superb band and string section numbered (I thnk) 15 plus three backing singers and really made for an occasion, despite the usual RAH sound challenges.
She sounds awesome (chills) and still looks so young - made me think she could still play 'Evita'!

Did anyone notice the photo in the programme of a very young Lea playing Annie?
Sooooooo cute!

Personally it was lovely to finally see Lea but it felt very “in and out let’s make the money and leave”. Not much warmth to the performances and it felt like a money maker.
Wish Lea would do a full show in the UK again.

Hopefully she’ll sing the songs in full that she brushed over last time but she’s always worth seeing. Booked for Manchester.

The London ticket price add on. Bristol seem to be 107 vip front rows to 42 in the circles on the presale which seem to include 10 of fees thanks to the updated venue using ticketmaster for booking. Not extensive tour but nice to see cover other places than just London.

Not quite the demand for tix in Bristol yet. These Cuffe & Taylor events normally end up on ‘specialist’ sites a few weeks before so I might risk that instead.

Anyone at Drury Lane tonight?! Yes, it was a great night! First time seeing her in concert and really enjoyed it. Also a very thorough collection of merchandise available which she hilariously plugged before the interval. I know some people prefer a surprise - and there’s no song list in the programme, so I’ll do the rest as a spoiler. {Spoiler - click to view}There were only a handful of songs I didn’t know but from what I can recall (which is by no means the full set list and I’m completely blanking on the opening numbers for some reason) but she definitely did She Used To Be Mine, a movie medley including Everything I Do and My Heart Will Go On, a Disney melody including Part of Your World, Home and Colors of the Wind, a Jason Robert Brown medley of Wondering and Still Hurting, a Rodgers and Hammerstein medley of A Cockeyed Optimist, Impossible, My Own Little Corner and If I Loved You, Everything’s Coming Up Roses, Being Alive and Something’s Coming (both using Barbra’s Broadway Album orchestrations!), On My Own, Stayin’ Alive(!), Skyfall(!), Reflection, A Whole New World and Last Night of the World (with Adam Felipe), By the Sea,The Movie in Mind (with Sarah Galbraith). Encores were Elephant Love Medley (with Adam Felipe) and Over the Rainbow, dedicated to all who celebrate Pride which was sweet.
Sad not to hear anything from Fun Home or Here Lies Love, and surprised I’d Give My Life For You wasn’t done as an encore, but you can’t have it all. Programme is pleasant enough with no adverts and some biographical info, but overpriced at £10 IIRC. She seemed thrilled to be back on the Drury Lane stage for the first time since 1990 and said there were lots of family and friends in (including her brother as MD!) Didn’t see any of the Old Friends company but that doesn’t mean they weren’t in the better seats! Nice to see a large crowd of Filipinos in attendance, although unsurprisingly references to Sondheim and Jason Robert Brown didn’t get the same huge scale applause as Miss Saigon and Disney.

Also how could I forget Let It Go as the finale for her Disney medley of songs she didn’t originate! I’m sure the Drury Lane staff were thrilled to hear it on their day off from Frozen 🤣

A fabulous evening with some lovely songs and arrangements and a really well behaved audience!
Adored Lea in "Old Friends" so it's lovely to see her back in the UK and singing a variety of songs.
A real dream come true to see a Disney legend perform not only her Disney numbers but some others too!
The "Edelweiss" arrangement was beautiful and her finale of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" was stunning. And not forgetting "Staying Alive" from Saturday Night Fever it is worth the ticket price alone to hear that!
Go see her if you can, a really enjoyable concert.

Had a email reminder that you need to bring the paper tickets they sent for this show rather than using ticketmaster wallet so was pleased had actually put it in the ticket box which hasn't been used for several years with the on your phone tickets now. (It's quite an fancy full colour foil security tabbed one in the middle of an a4 sheet)
Sounds like another issue with the newly opened bristol beacon hall but will get to see what 132 million gets you when get to see the new hall and Lea on Wednesday night.

I have a free ticket for Lea’s concert in Edinburgh. Incredible seat, literally three rows away from the legend herself.
Completely free. In all honestly I just can’t be bothered going. It’s been a long time since I’ve actually enjoyed some days off and not had a full diary so I’m making an effort to scale back.

Criky this is proving an unexpected ordeal. I know the vip tickets included access to a sound check so presume the pop concert sound blast is intentional and with it any sublety or emotional in the vocal is wiped out. Staying alive from Saturday night fever was quite jaw dropping but not I expect in the way intended, but at least was complete, it's medley overload with most songs little more than samples. The act one closure of being alive (disco dance version) did have a odd merit. Promoting the interval and the merch she did say to have a drink or five as it makes her sound better. Sadly am driving so can't take the offer up. In fairness it's getting fairly rapturous applause and the two miss saigon numbers sung with the two young and excellent backing singers were good and showed the power this evening could have if the sound was at a level to flatter the voice not blast it. Act two to come. Now do I buy a £35 tshirt?

It would have helped if they had invested in a teleprompter on the back wall rather than having her stare at the one on the floor continuously - not a good look.

Act two was more of the same, over amplified and medley overkill but at least knew what to expect and it went down well with most and there was a crowded merchandise stand at the end and sounded like a lot of £70 plus sales being processed. It was good she introduced and name checked the band several times in the show. West end performer Adam Filipe was the male backing singer and was a great voice in the duets. Not having seen her in concert I was expecting the more traditional musical star concert, this seemed more of a singer grabbing the karaoke machine for the night, but at least was local and there were enough moments to make the evening worthwhile but normally when you see a star of this status you expect them to put their own stamp and make the songs they sing their own for the evening.

Has anyone done the VIP for this? Just says ‘from 5.15’ on my ticket and I’m not sure if that’s when I’ve to be in my seat or that’s when I’ve to arrive. Not really clear at all, in the past for other VIPs I’ve been bombarded with info and rules. Also, how much time is there in between the VIP and the concert? Just trying to figure out when I’m going to eat.

We only had about an hour between the VIP and concert, however it started quite late. Actually so did the show, but of course we didn't know this so still had to eat quickly.
