Lots of questions but the most obvious one is why Robbie William’s wife is on the panel.
Who?
(Please don’t tell me to google. We’re done with that).

Ask Jeeves?
She is a regular contributor on Loose Women (apparently)
Plus it was the only way to get Robbie to do the show - and he is a big draw.

Because the very fact that Robbie Williams and Sharon Osbourne are judges prove that you don't need any talent whatsoever to judge this show, so why shouldn't Robbie Williams' wife?

I'm calling it; at least one person will say "I'm sorry but who the hell are you?" to Mrs Robbie Williams at some point.
That two piece who were just on just seemed like they wanted to fit in with the fidget spinner and Jake Paul generation.

She is actually coming over well. Unlike most of the singers.

She is very good friends with Simon's wife!
I'm a huge Robbie fan and not an X factor fan but forced myself to watch this. Not as cringe worthy aa I expected.
Expect Robbie's Dad and Ayda's Mum to make appearances!

We aren't seeing enough acts this year. We will get to boot camp and be seeing a lot of people for the first time.
Xtra Factor might not have been perfect over the years - but it was a chance to see more people (at least some years)

I haven't watched this show for several years now. I became very tired of the format.
For whatever reason though, I caught about 20 minutes of the show on Sunday evening (two consecutive evenings is too much isn't it?) and both of the acts had been on the show in previous years! Is there no NEW talent?

Or Cowell wants to keep things in the news so creates fake drama to get people talking

That woman is extremely temperamental. One minute she’s like “f*** Simon, f*** this show, I’m out”, the next she’ll be like “hahahhaahahaha I love this job so much!”

Next year's panel:- Simon Cowell's dentist Robbie Williams' postman Cheryl Whatsit's neighbour's best mate Thingy, who was booted off the X-Factor 2005 in week one

Shazza has officially dropped out of the lives thank god. I actually find that I’m warming to the new panel, but I found that Ayda was reading everything off the autocue or her clipboard during 6 chairs.
If they don’t call the group with Burgandy and Panda (2 soloists in the overs who were made into a group) Burgandy Panda I’ve lost hope.

I wish they had set aside one episode for each of the categories at the 6 chair challenge. Cutting back and forth between categories made for a very disjointed presentation.
Also, because we had a curtailed auditions phase, there were many acts we have not seen properly - meaning it is hard to form judgements as to potential.
I think the show does need a rest for a year or two. It is not a bad format for a show - but it just needs a breather and to come back fresh. All of the imported contestants just doesn't sit right. It is too produced. We need to go back to hearing lots of voices and finding something special. Not scouting round the world and constructing the show that way.
Also there should be a ban on bringing on backing dancers. If you can't entertain on your own, you don't deserve a place.
Plus stop all this over-singing. Too many runs, flips, wails, screams. Sing from your heart, not copying what someone else does on the radio.
And the word 'lad' should never be heard again.....

The drag queen hasn't got the greatest voice - but he is a performer and he has heart.

Very very disappointed that the group is called "Panda & Burgundy" and not "Burgundy Panda". Huge missed opportunity.

I don't see how you can market a choir that performs with an overenthusiastic conductor as a new chart act. I think we are looking for a very early exit for the groups

I'm not sure flying a 30 piece choir to Los Angeles is within Syco's budget but okay then.
In my opinion, generic boy band number 507 should have gone instead of the family.

The family gospel singers were not that good. And they always put through the manufactured groups. This time 4 have gone through. Boy group, Girl group, girl duo, American duo.
Why do existing groups bother?

Out of the groups, Burgundy Panda is my favourite. I don't care if their name is Panda & Burgundy, the group name will always be Burgundy Panda in my book.

I thought tonight's first edition of judges houses was good, but we tuned in slightly late due to Doctor Who and Strictly overlapping, so I was confused as to why Simon had invited the entire Sony Music Group to his house. {Spoiler - click to view} The four girls who I wanted to see in the lives went through. Molly is a great young talent, Bella's rapping sets her aside from the other contestants, Scarlet deserves it after being rejected last year, and Shan has such raw talent. Glad Simon made good decisions with his lot.

Annoyed with Robbie. Burgundy Panda are consistently more unique and better than the generic boy band, but nope.

Annoyed with Robbie. Burgundy Panda are consistently more unique and better than the generic boy band, but nope. But they don't make for a convincing act. It was as if they came together for a charity single or something. They don't need one another. You don't get anything extra from the combination. They are both big personality singers but together that does not add more. I was surprised that the choir went through. They are not special. They are BGT semi final standard at best. The presence of the 'conductor' gets in the way. The male duo have talent. The two young girls - well that feels slightly exploitative. They are good but noone of their ages should be part of this toxic process.

I guess the choir were picked becsuse the producers want to get their money’s worth of flying 30 people to LA.

Darius Danish audition moment with that hideous serious rendition of the ‘Friends’ theme.
