Well Wicked’s finishing on tour beginning of next year not “going out”. Dreamgirls isn’t happening until 2020 or later from what other people have said on the boards. Also I believe Billy Elliot’s doing an Australian tour right now and may come back to the UK afterwards but that won’t be for a while? Read that on here somewhere.

Heard rumours from people who work at theatres that Phantom might be going back out after Les Mis. No word on if it was orginal or restaged.
Also that Wicked might have a 3rd UK tour provisionally booked to start in late 2019/2020

Avenue Q is also touring in 2019. I hadn't heard anything about the Book of Mormon tour - when is this happening?

Cats is probably not likely until the movie is out. It only did the rounds a year or so ago and didn't sell brilliantly then.

would 2019/20 for Wicked not just be the continuation of the current tour and not a third tour
Lion king and beauty and the beast were booked into venues as of about 6 months ago

I've heard from fairly reliable people that Book of Mormon is definitely touring soon, but I'm unaware of dates yet.
Lion King is another one, as others have already said.
If only the Memphis tour had actually happened!!!

After seeing the ridiculous prices of the current Wicked and Les Mis tours, I can only dread to think how Lion King will push up their prices.
I'll try and get tickets to Mormon when it eventually comes to Edinburgh but I think it will probably be a sellout.

For a family show to be charging those prices is ridiculous. Many people I know can’t afford to go to see it because of how ridiculous it is.

Is Bat out of Hell confirmed as touring next year? I'm just guessing but I think it would sell well on tour for those who cannot get down to London to see it but I give Bat a few more years till it tours yet

The King and I is meant to be touring after the Palladium also 42nd Street.
I don't mind the tour prices if it's the full west end standard on tour. If it's equal to what's in london then it's fair enough to charge those prices

Quite shocked but not that it's going out again so soon

Oh i hope that Memphis is a possibility.
Also i thought it came out on here a couple of months again that The Addams Family was touring again? What's happened to that?

I also agree about the prices for most tours as I'm finding it cheaper to day seat and going to see it in London seen as I am lucky I can. Wicked wants around £65 for row B in the stalls in Cardiff (around that price) were u can go to London and day seat and get the same seat for £29.50, thank goodness for day seats. But for Matilda in Cardiff under 25's were getting tickets in the stalls row B for £5 each so I grabbed the last two the day they went on sale. I think some venues like the WMC in Cardiff should consider a lottery or a day seating system like they do in the US but that will probably never happen. Plus I Really hope a Memphis tour happens soon.
