Anyone else feel the weather is getting revenge on those of us who complained about the heat by now being perishing though it's still only November? (However I would still pick the current weather over what we had in the summer if I had the choice *hugs radiator*.) I'm in New York at the minute and it's -6 and breezy. I'm about to get on a ferry to the Statue of Liberty...help! Send hot water bottles, and coffee.

Loved today, damp and mizzly with hills and all around ahrouded in grey.
Like being in a gothic novel.

This is why I don't complain when it's hot, even when it's uncomfortable because I'd much prefer it to this. The COLD.

Kicking off this year's heat-related moaning! Anyone else spent today indoors with the curtains drawn or is it just me? I'm worried that this is a carbon copy of last year, when it was really warm for the third week in April, so will we have to sufffer another horribly hot summer?

22 degrees in eastern Scotland today. Local Asda has run out of beer and iced lollies already.

Beautiful sunny day here today, cool and fresh to mild. Perfect for a leisurely beach stroll so that's what we did. It never really gets much above the low 20sC here.

It's not hot in London, it's just pleasantly warm. Finally I think the winter coat can go in the attic until autumn, but I was perfectly comfortable in jeans and a three-quarter sleeve light top today - it's certainly not shorts and sandals weather yet!

I changed into shorts as I was getting quite uncomfortable in full length jeans.
Currently having pizza outside on the grass because why the hell not.

I sat in the park and ate an ice lolly. It was nice and warm but I was there later in the afternoon and it was a bit breezey so probably not quite warm enough for an ice lolly.
I don't mind though, I love getting to sit in the park.

Started reading this and people talking about temperatures of 32c and thinking what are they going on about? Then realised I was on page 1 and not page 10! Glorious day today in London. Nearly fell asleep in my chair in the garden. Started to wash all my jumpers before putting them away for the summer. Sure sign by the end of next week we will have snow!!!!

It was getting a bit too UV-ish for me in the afternoon, although the temperature out of the sunshine was pleasantly warm without being overbearing.

Once I got home from work the fan came out and put the ice cube trays in the freezer! Lucky it's cooled a bit now but...

The week started with the gritters out overnight and me in my long (and very stylish) winter coat.
It's ending in shirt sleeves and (very stylish) chinos, without turn ups. 🙂

I LOVE it. Will be devoting tomorrow to sitting in the garden. Factor 50 everyone, factor 50 and hats. Let’s give This weather the respect it deserves. YES. I'm always the person telling people to put on lotion. It could literally save your life.
