And with 10th anniversary hashtag and the US announcement today, it will be Rachel Tucker coming in as Elphie! I was about to post the same. The timing is too much of a coincidence Yeah that and not only fans, but respected theatre websites such as West End Frame have been openly speculating about her returning. Which shows that it's not just a group of fans who want her back |

I just spent $100 on a ticket for her last Broadway show. It's worth it but I still was expecting it to be final show ever!

Eeek! As I've now had my ticket for months I'm so excited to find out what it actually is! Really hope it's not a let down. If it's Rachel returning I will be so happy. She's my favourite Elphie and I left NY a week before she opened on Broadway and don't go back until a few weeks after she leaves. I did get to see her sing with Wilemijn at 54 below however so I did get an amazing NY Elphie fix!

I just spent $100 on a ticket for her last Broadway show. It's worth it but I still was expecting it to be final show ever! Well at least you're sure you'll get to see her. And a last show of a run is always high energy, even if she already knows she'll be playing it again soon |

Your post made me assume this. Don't think that a trip to NY is that expensive. well, all I can say is that it must be nice to think of a trip to New York + Broadway tickets as not too expensive. Don't assume others have money just because you do. |

could you imagine if after all of this it's Emma & Savannah staying on?

I would say the most likely events are-
- Rachel returning
- Alyssa Fox coming over from Broadway
- Completely new pairing

I'd think that if they're bringing back Rachel, they might bring back another Glinda.
Don't think it'll be Louise if she's in Side Show, or Gina Beck, since Show Boat has only been recently announced as closing early. Dianne Pilkington is leaving Mamma Mia before the 10th, but I wonder if she's too old now?
Actually, unless it's a former standby/understudy or one getting bumped up, thinking Rachel returning and a new Glinda.
just please for my sanity pray it's not a celebrity stunt cast

I don't think so, because as a student you can only go on school holidays, which is when it's most expensive. A plane ticket alone can cost you 800 euros or more |

Norwegian from Gatwick to JFK, airbnb, and lottery, rush tickets and/or TKTS: no, I don't think that a trip to NY is that expensive or that one has to have money for it. That said, Rachel was in the Broadway production for almost a year, so there was plenty of time to save some money and see her. |
