Daughter took me to this and I really enjoyed it. We were in the middle of the back row of the Stalls (S18/19) and had a good clear view throughout and didn't feel too far away. Daughter did a lot of research include going on a certain monkey's site and Seat Plan to finally select these seats. A bargain at £29 I'd say!
Really enjoyed the show - have been feeling a bit delicate recently and think this was one of the few shows I could have enjoyed. It obviously attracts a certain sort of lovely audience too - at least going by the conversations in the ladies' loo which ranged from a young woman being very sweet when I accidentally turned a tap on too strongly and it splashed a bit to a small group sharing memories about 9/11 and their enthusiasm about the production. One woman said this was the 3rd city where'd she'd seen it.

Does anybody know of Rachel Tuckers holiday dates? Looking into going next Friday and would like to catch her if possible.

She was on holiday a couple of weeks ago so I doubt she'll be off again so soon, barring illness you should be fine.

For anyone interested, the real life Beverley Bass was interviewed for Eye of the Storm on BBC 5Live last week, which is a show where they interview people at the heart of a news story about how it changed their lives.
Haven't listened to it yet but I have it boolmarked on the BBC Sounds app to listen to.

I saw this again tonight, first time since February. It's bloody good isn't it.

Is there anything concrete on whether Rachel’s doing another year or not? One minute I’m hearing people saying she’s staying and doing her other projects around the show and the next I’m hearing people saying she’s leaving, mentioning a last show on the 8th of February.

Has anyone tried TodayTix Rush tickets on this?
Planning on taking my aunt to see it on Boxing Day but deliberating over splashing the cash on pretty ordinary seats or trying my luck on the day... Just wondering if it's worth the risk.

Just wondering if it's worth the risk. Yup I have got them 3 times, they are pretty easy to get. I believe they get rid of the worst seats first. I waited until about 10.30 all times and rejected a lot of bad seats before finally getting stalls Row D house right and then Row C house left. 3rd time I got Row G dead centre in the Circle.

Thanks so much! Think I'll risk it then. Worst case scenario I'll just have to pay full price on Thursday rather than today, I guess.

Just be aware the stage is pretty high as well (like Hamilton high!) so I'd avoid anything closer than Row C! I actually thought my Circle seat was pretty good. Very nice view of the stage, but just be aware the rake isn't great, so if you get a tall person it may be annoying x

Thanks!
I've been before a couple of times and found front and back of the circle were both good. The stage does look very high! Fingers crossed I'll get something good.

Also dynamic pricing is used heavily, I got 2 £30 tickets in front stalls for my grandparents during the summer.

Boxing isn’t a busy theatre day, as there is no national rail that day.

The tickets are VERY expensive on Boxing Day for some reason.

Another very happy punter in my aunt tonight. She loved it.
I thought it was fantastic again too, although I thought some of the cast have let their accents become a bit broad. My aunt struggled to make out some of the dialogue.
I got Grand Circle C4 and C5 for GBP 22 each on TodayTix rush. Great view, but the whole show is played to the dress circle, where I have sat both times before, and it's definitely better from the dress circle (obvious, I guess, but worth noting).
Still a very special show and I'm feeling very uplifted.

Made my third visit to this show last night (second in the UK). Sold out signs outside. I was lucky enough to get Row C Stalls in the Rush which is about the perfect place to sit with the high stage.
Three covers on (although I had to really hunt to find that out). You wouldn’t know as everything is so polished, although since the actors cover so many roles it does mean they sometimes play parts they’re not perfectly visually suited for.
Covers were: Claude - Alexander McMorran Bonnie - Jennifer Tierney Kevin J/Ali - Brandon Lee Sears
I do find this quite a draining show even though it’s excellent. Can’t imagine what it’s like to perform in it. An instant standing ovation as you’d expect,

Gosh, its still selling out then! Im glad of that as I think its the best new show Ive seen in a loooong time. I saw Dear Evan Hanson a few weeks ago and cant believe that it beat Come From Away to the Tony. For me this is a far more engaging show.

Could not agree more. A tale of warmth and real connection, not the glacial & shiny artifice of DEH which preaches connection but doesn’t let you in anywhere near often enough.

Cast change has seemingly been announced. A picture of 5 plane tickets to Gander with the names covered was posted on CFA’s Twitter, which I suppose means 5 new cast members. We know that Bob and Rachel are leaving but I’m wondering who else.

@posterj She was rumoured to be moving to New York permanently, and the above rumour is probably who the new Beverley is.

There hasn’t been a confirmed announcement but Rachael has confirmed at stage door that she is moving to New York.
