The Come From Away Band "The Islanders" have announced a residency at the Pheonix Arts Club every Tuesday night after the show. "As a new show lands at The Phoenix Theatre, so does a Tuesday night residency at the Phoenix Arts Club! Introducing The Islanders - the Irish folk band starring members of the new hit musical Come From Away! Every Tuesday night from 9.30pm, just after the curtain call upstairs, head down to the Phoenix Arts Club and enjoy the sound of fiddles, the strumming of guitars and the tapping of spoons ’til your heart’s content. These established West End musicians will serenade your post-show drinks and create an experience like no other at one of Central London’s last independent venues. Old favourites are reignited and classics are reintroduced in this beautiful celebration of culture. This event is free for Phoenix Arts Club members and Come From Away ticket holders (just show your ticket on the door)! It’s the perfect opportunity to come together." I've just booked my tickets for this in July. I've heard absolutely amazing things about it, and I'm so excited!

This is crazy, 14 times in London alone! Wow. I've seen this from several people so it's definitely building it's fanbase up.

I like making lists but a spreadsheet just seems to take the fun out of it. Each to their own!
Also, I can’t help but wonder how the average person can afford this kind of thing? Perhaps they just have a lot of cash.

I think, if that is something they enjoy, then each to their own, live your best life. I know what y'all mean though. This isn't even quite as extreme as some. As noted preciously, an ex member on this board saw Dreamgirls thirty times in November 2017 and also saw Jamie in January 2019 thirty times. So there are very passionate people out there!

Now that is a spreadsheet. Not altogether too arsed about casting so those columns are redundant imo. Shame they've blurred out the notes column.

When I saw kinky boots just before it closed the person in the day queue in front of me would have seen it 105 times before it closed. I was amazed.

Yeah I know someone who had seen Kinky Boots by the middle of the run, over 200 times, and I know she went many more times after including, I think, all the final weeks performances.
I mean, I can't say much, I saw six of the eight final shows of 42nd Street, but still. 😂

Yeah I know someone who had seen Kinky Boots by the middle of the run, over 200 times I know this is off topic but 200 times!!! I know people should be free to spend their money how they wish but 200 x say £25 (day seat prices ) is £5000!!!! How do they afford it?

If it's over the full (checks Wikipedia) 3 and a half year run then that's about £1500 a year & I bet many of us spend at least that on theatre tickets in a year. I went to the theatre 99 times last year so if I spent £25 a ticket (and I know some were more) then that's nearly £2500 in a year.

I’m holding my hands up to say I’ve seen it three times with one more trip booked in for May, and many more planned for the future. I’m never going to reach the dizzying heights of the hundreds, but this is a show I could very easily see myself returning to every other month and possibly watching twice in the same day. As it makes me incredibly happy to do so, I’ll unapologetically continue to spend my money on the things that make me feel happiest, without worry of judgement from anybody else - I love this piece so much!

I've had a hint from my daughter that a trip to this may be my Mother's Day treat (probably taken post Mother's Day) - and cannot wait!!

For context, the most times I have ever seen one show is 4 times, which was Billy Elliot from about 2008-2017. In the 6 weeks CFA has been in London I've now seen it 3 times 😂 I definitely won't continue seeing it at my current rate, but this is definitely a show I could see countless times. There's just something about it that I clicked with instantly and it brings me a lot of joy to watch. I've promised my friend that my next visit will be with her so I shall resist until then! (Or will I...?)
