Having nothing to do tonight, I ended up getting a TT rush ticket for CFA. It’s been 3 years my last trip to the rock and still packs a big emotional punch watching it again after such a long time. In these difficult times its just great to watch a show with an upbeat and positive message that can still cause you to shed a tear as well as laugh in equal measure. It really is an emotional rollercoaster ride of a show. A great ensemble cast with a few of the original making a return to the show. With Alice Fern absent we had Jennifer Tierney on as Bev who was excellent though it was Jenna Boyd who was the standout for me. Her playing a Scouse air passenger was great and really brought a lot laughs and smiles to people’s faces.
I certainly walked out the theatre tonight in a real positive frame of mind. It’s still a 5⭐️ show on a repeat viewing with a thoroughly deserved standing ovation at the end.

Made a return visit yesterday afternoon, and once again was blown away by the show. The cast and band are amazing and seem to really enjoy their time on the stage (even with the subject matter). The stalls appeared full yesterday - not sure about the rest of the theatre, but it would be missed if it closes. Not sure what the appetite for theatres to put on one act shows that don’t generate the interval cash, but would be good for it to continue having a life beyond London.

I believe the production pays a fee to compensate the bar in most cases with a one act play so I guess the theatre doesn't mind either way !

I would really hope not. I love this show, never fails to make me laugh and cry. It is I’m afraid.

I’d like to think that this will do well on tour. ‘Small’ enough to fit everywhere, with enough buzz about it to send ripples of excitement through the communities it reaches.

This will be a real loss for the west end. Possibly the best show we have at the moment.

One of the best atmospheres in a theatre, and one of the best audience reactions I've ever seen was the reopening night at Come From Away after Covid. I'm booking for the 7th January final show now.

This is sad news indeed. One of my favorite shows currently in the West End and the first show I went back to see when theatres reopened. It's had a great run though compared to many other shows. Agree it would work well on tour so hope there is a future life for it.

Terrible shame its going, knowing our luck it'll be replaced with some woke remodeled revival of something that was taken off the west end years ago. 🙄

Have you managed to get tickets for Jan? Their website’s only showing me three dates in Dec and nothing for Nov or Jan at the mo. Edit: Whats on stage website has them, if anyone else is in the same boat!

Yeah the official website doesn't seem to show dates that far but ATG has them up until closing date as well. All booked now.

Booked for the final show as well, back of the circle, it’s going to be a special night.

The combined run was over 2 and a half years, that’s a very good run and it’ll have a life on tour

I’ve also booked for closing night on ATG, they have updated availability now. Atmosphere should be great. I’ve seen it 3 times in NYC, twice with OBC and once for Rachel Tucker’s first show right before shutdown, so I’m excited to see it in London finally.

On the ATG site there’s already limited availability for the final show at high prices! Would love to be there though, I’ve seen it ten times since June 2019!

This will be a real loss for the west end. Possibly the best show we have at the moment. No "probably" about it, it absolutely is the best show in the West End at the minute. I've seen it 6 times and it still has the same emotional impact. Gutted it is closing and I have booked for closing night - Upper Circle. No doubt I will be back before then as well.

I’ve also booked closing night. What a loss for the West End but they should be super proud of the run they’ve had in some really challenging circumstances.
Either this tours, or if it’s licensed it’s going to be one of those shows produced for years to come by professional and amateur companies.

Managed to get a cheeky row K stalls seat for the last night at a not completely ridiculous price. Good luck if you're buying - it'll be incredible and emotional.

Booked front of the dress circle for opening night, but absolutely gutted this is closing. I'd love to see it go on tour.

Booked at well. Limited tickets left but showing as green availability for all other dates, which I guess is why it is closing. Will be such a good atmosphere.

Right, I’m booked! In the grand circle for more than I’ve ever paid to sit up there, but I couldn’t not be there!
