As the kids say, this is giving me life! It’s getting real exciting now that this is my next show next Saturday. My emotions are so not even ready. Just don’t say anything about being ‘shook’ and ‘living your best life’, and we’ll forgive the inappropriate youth vernacular. 😂

Made the mistake of listening to the Broadway cast recording again and now I really can’t wait for this show to hit London, never before have I wished time away this much. Really hoping this lives up to expectations.

I’ve just caught a glimpse of the theatre front on an Instagram story and it looks incredible. Across the large curved exterior is a beautiful electric sign of the show logo in yellow. If you follow Aeron James you’ll find it.

I've listened to an audio of Rachel that has appeared on YouTube and she sounds amazing. So excited for her!

I really like the FoH for this, mainly because the blue and yellow gives me The Girls vibes.

Changed my tickets from opening preview to a later date, to find out I now can go! Gutted but it's only a couple weeks later; so excited for this!

Of all the new marquees that have been put up in the past few weeks, I think it’s safe to say this one wins hands down!

I really have a feeling this is gonna be the surprise hit of the year now. I want it to be, if only so we have a nice FoH in London seeing as the only other decent one (i.e. something 3D not just a flimsy bit of plastic stretched out) of recent times (42nd Street) is coming down.

I absolutely love it, I’m thrilled! I had no idea that the Phoenix has those pillars, they’ve recently been hidden behind a solid panel, they dramatically chsnge the look of the building for the better.

This show just has some weird magic. I can't even get through the recording without sobbing, god help me in the actual theatre. I really hope this turns out to be the quiet smash hit we all know it should be.

Whoever came up with that design needs congratulating. A really simple idea but very well executed. I never knew those pillars even existed. The design has really transformed the theatre front into something that is stunning to look at rather than the dingy exterior that we often see.

We’re at ‘Waitress’ for the first Saturday matinee. How long is CFA? Could we still get the last train back to Bristol after it?
