Persephone Hades and Hermes need actors first and foremost, which cancels out about half the people working in the West End today.
A high kick and a nice belt doesn't cut it with this - these three need to carry the show.

To me Wicked feels much more American than this (due to how ingrained the Wizard of Oz movie and Judy Garland are in our culture) and yet they did that with British accents.
I saw the show on Broadway last Spring and didn’t realise the parallels to the Great Depression to be honest, so I take your point having now realised that!

Suggesting Marisha is borderline offensive.
Agree with Being Alive (as I so often do) they need actors first and foremost which cancels out so many suggestions in this thread. Although I have to disagree about Ava Brennan’s diction, I’ve seen her in four or five roles and think she’s fantastic!
If Eurydice was going to be white, I think Eleanor Worthington Cox would be incredible. Also think Roshani Abbey could do a brilliant job with it.

I assumed that maybe Eurydice would be Desmonda Cathabel since she’s only doing a short stint in Aladdin and then not joining the rest of the tour.. thought she must have another job booked plus I think she’d be great

I don't know who's in this - I wish I did - but Desmonda's conflict stopping her being able to do more of the tour of Aladdin is something else

I’ve heard the rake in the Lyric theatre isn’t great. Is it worth spending more on a ticket close to the front of the stalls / dress circle or do we think there will be a rush tickets scheme?

Considering the fanbase that show, and especially the actors have, it wouldn't be a bad move if they are trying to create a cult fanbase/social media buzz around Hadestown |

No, I hadn’t heard of this irish actor but after listening to him, I’m very happy. Female Hermes is a beloved actor and I couldn’t be happier, she’s going to be incredible! |
