both excellent and well-loved names. Both ENTIRELY wrong for their roles but I'll still watch it 😂

I’ve got a feeling it’s Trevor.

This show really needs some great casting to continue (not stunt casting, just exciting, known performers) Agreed. There was a lot of hype when it first returned in February. Now? … Where’s the excitement?

Random thought, but I actually wouldn't hate Marisha Wallace as Persephone. I also think Rachel John would be pretty great...

Sheila Atim would be fantastic - not that she'd ever do it.

Sheila Atim would be fantastic - not that she'd ever do it. Oh she'd be WONDERFUL, but 100% never doing it.

Rachel Tucker posted a Greek Myths book recently so I’m guessing she’s Persephone?

No one told her Persephone has to dance?? Those of us who saw her in Sunset should know that it's far from her strongest skill...

Both entirely miscast but I never miss Tucker in anything so can't wait to see it 😂
In fairness, every single person in the original cast was miscast apart from Gloria so at least they're sticking to their guns 😂

That’s three pretty huge West End stars all in one show now… appreciate they may not mean much to general public but I’m suitability impressed.
When you guys say Rachel and Trevor are mis-cast, can you elaborate on why?

Also a confirmation of the show extending until September 2025 in the email announcing this. (It had previously taken group bookings until then so not a huge surprise).
Current cast run till 09 Feb with cast from 11 Feb 'to be announced'.
So a January visit for me then I reckon.

I assume this is them copying New York Hadestown’s method of refreshing the casting every few months but very impressed they went for some big West End names.
I’ve seen this on Broadway a lot and must admit that I’ve really enjoyed it in the last 18 months where we’ve had so many different interpretations of the roles. The OG cast stayed so long, it was very very rigid in its characterisation.
I’d watch Rachel and Trevor both in anything so hope they get the freedom to bring someone new.

I think Trevor is a fantastic choice for Hades! In the same way that Zachary was very different to Patrick, this is a chance to change it around once again. Very excited to return in two weeks, hopefully I have them both on.

Also Dylan Wood Orpheus is outstanding.

I can’t wait to hear Persephone with an Irish accent (presuming they will continue to roll with using performers native accents).
