Very exciting if true - but is there anything specifically that has prompted this flurry of speculation? Hopefully more than wishful thinking! Not speculating...I know people working on it...it's happening...

Don't expect this anywhere with an escalator either.

Don't expect this anywhere with an escalator either. Do you know what month this is starting?

I'd probably say Savoy or Gielgud for Hadestown. I could see it just about squeezing into the Gielgud, but not the Savoy. If it comes over (and I’ve personally heard nothing for ages about it), then I demand Amber Gray is in it.

Don't expect this anywhere with an escalator either. It was a question rather than a statement; it’s what that funny shape at the end of the sentence means. I know nothing.

Just got out of seeing this in NY and would love for the rumours of a West End revival to be true. I went into it completely blind and was blown away. The music is great and Lillias White and Eva Noblezada were incredible but more than anything I need the opportunity to see someone other than Reeve Carney - who made a series of bizarre choices which included breathy affectations, clipping syllables/notes and a very nasal falsetto.

FYI, it is Lillias White. Lillian is a common mistake, autocorrect or otherwise. And I completely concur about Reeve Carney.

Wasn't it only recently at the NT? In 2018 And it struggled to sell. I remember loads of offers on tickets. Love Hadestown.

This is happening. November I've heard. That makes me think it's the Lyric after Aspect of Love.

Whilst I'm glad its coming back, this show relies on spectacular casting - like I'd have had a nap at the Nash without Amber Gray and Andre De Shields.
I just...dunno who we have that could possibly match that cast we got in 2019

I'd love to see Sam Tutty Orpheus and Desmonda Cathabel or Nathania Ong as Eurydice

I just...dunno who we have that could possibly match that cast we got in 2019 I don't think Persephone is that hard to cast - everyone I saw in NY in the part was fabulous. My vote would go to Carly Mercedes Dyer, who deserves a big break in London. As for Hermes, I just hope that they'll go with someone in the same age bracket as Andre De Shields and Lillias White. A young Hermes doesn't work as a parental figure for Orpheus and it's also rather rare to have such a great role for a performer on the older side, so it shouldn't be taken away from them. Will be harder to find a Hades with a properly deep bass. As for Orpheus & Eurydice, hopefully they'll cast some newcomers and not one of the usual suspects.

If it's not until 2024, I wonder if it's planned for the Gillian Lynne after Crazy For You.
