Looks like I need to book in a date before December! Need to see Callum as Lola! Though I’m also very happy about Kayi taking over the role afterwards. As for Paula I’m assuming she’s playing Lauren.

I was pretty much happy with anyone other than Ray bleedin' Quinn, so hurrah! Joel was great in Myth at the Other Palace earlier this year 😀

Very happy to see Callum opening the tour, he was great when I saw him in London and constantly got rave reviews when he played the role in Oz.

Very excited about Callum and Joel! I saw Callum twice in London and he’s my favourite Lola of those I have seen and Joel was pretty spectacular in Myth!

The jury is out on Paula. I assume with this that she has been cast because she is able to do the role but it makes me nervous when the star casting has no theatre/singing experience at all, which she doesn't seem to have.

Sorry to sound ignorant, but what is Paula Lane actually famous for?

Good casting for the three leads, I'll certainly be intrigued by Paula Lane's performance!

Her main defining characteristic is that she isn't Ashleigh Gray, who is the person that should be playing Nicola Ashleigh could very possibly be the Heather Chandler for when Heathers transfers to Haymarket. Two similar actresses to her have played the role (Amy Ross, Jodie Steele) which makes me think she could get it. EDIT: I’ve just been imaging “The Most Beautiful Thing in the World” sing in Ashleigh’s tone. It’s interesting to say the least.

Sorry to sound ignorant, but what is Paula Lane actually famous for? Coronation Street! She played Kylie Platt for a number of years. I’m looking forward to seeing her as Lauren, im spectical as I’ve never heard her sing before but she is a fabulous actress at least. As for the other leads I’m glad they’ve stuck with MT actors rather than names, looking forward to seeing all three of them. Wasn’t planning on seeing the tour until after the London production had closed (no early venues are that close to me) but I need to see Callum as Lola and this seems to be my chance, looks like a Saturday matinee trip will happen (if I can get a Saturday off work that is)

I'm happy to see them promote from within and give Dance Captain positions to George Grayson and Jason Winter who were Angels/Swing in the last London cast.
Also the first time there's been the slightest bit of diversity in the female casting!

Just had my holiday approved so it looks like I’ll be able to catch the tour (hopefully with Callum!) in Northampton after all. Does anyone have any knowledge of that theatre and the best places to sit /areas to avoid?!

Does anyone have any knowledge of that theatre and the best places to sit /areas to avoid?! I volunteer there and know it pretty well - I can honestly say there aren't any areas to avoid, even the back of the upper circle is a decent view. Legroom is decent throughout the auditorium as well. So you'll be fine wherever you go for 😀

You're welcome! I'd probably opt for the stalls for this show to be closer to the fabulousness, but wherever you go you'll be fine. You'll have a better view than I will anyway, sitting on the usher seats by the doors!

Just had my holiday approved so it looks like I’ll be able to catch the tour (hopefully with Callum!) in Northampton after all. Does anyone have any knowledge of that theatre and the best places to sit /areas to avoid?! I’m graduating there in February. I found the grand circle to be much further away from the stage than most theatres, even on the front row. It feels as though you’re too far removed from the action for my liking, but the view is uninterrupted. Personally I would opt for the stalls.
